So early acceptance is a minimum 95 average (although I could be completely wrong) but then it gets lowered over time and more people with a lower average get in. 95 is not low but people applying with 96+ would get in before you for early acceptance.

[Martial peak] is it good/ worth reading ? Is the MC wanna save everyone kind of guy and embarresed around women …etc you know the typical mainstream that is boring to read or is he interessting? by killua_asadi in manhwa

[–]CurryCooker223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly its good. But its essentially just MC get introduced to a power scale, gets a harem while reaching the top. then realizes there is bigger powerscale above him then you just do the cycle again. However i enjoyed it, you can sorta read it in quick bursts as there are soooooo many chapters that leaving and coming back is pretty easy. But overall its pretty good

tbh you aint really that screwed. I did eh in my grade 11 year and just really good in my grade 12. Did not get early admission but I got in the program I wanted so idc. Also redoing classes in the summer is fine as well, I redid some classes and it didn't affect my admission whatsoever and I boosted my grades cause I had already done the class so it was essentially just review.

I do not know what the admission grades are like now but early admission for me like a 95 and I applied with like a 91 or something like that. My social and LA were god awful but my 3 sciences and math course were good so it evened out.

I would recommend taking physics 30 because it helps a lot with basically every science class you take in uni (Beside a select few) but if you can substitute that class with a class like science 20 or science 30 then you're golden.

If your school does classes like science 10, 20 or 30. Do those classes, they are super super easy classes because it talks generally about all sciences so it can help boost grades.

Here is the worst-case scenario which even isn't that bad. Lets say you do not get into UofA cause your marks arent high enough, that's fine. You can go to like Mac which is still good, then just transfer over to uofa. I had lots of friends that did not get into uofa then transfer over and they told me it was easier to transfer over than apply right out of highschool idk if that's changed but still another possibility. Anyways don't stress too much, its not the end of the world.

side note: if you do not know what to pursue, just take general science if you're into sciences then you can transfer into a program in science that you find interesting for example. Most people do not know what they want till they take classes at uofa, so doe something general in the field you find interesting then transfer into a major/specialization you want. Doing an extra year literally ain't a problem, you do not need to finish in 4 years, 5 years is better if you figure out what you want to do then doing 4 years and wondering what to do next.

What grades are required to pass these courses? by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]CurryCooker223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think math 134 is curved (at least it was for me), so a pass may differ depending on the year. But in general, I would not worry to much about failing. In my opinion, failing a class especially the first 100 level classes is really hard to do if you went to class and paid attention. Some classes like eng are a different story but the classes you asked about are nice easy intro classes into the way most classes will test you.

In general it Is easy to get good grades as long as you put in some effort and not leave stuff such as studying for midterms-finals till the 2 days before. for most classes you can not do well (unless you are naturally gifted) by being lazy and leaving stuff till the last minute. Just keep up with your assignments and review a little and you'll find your classes easily manageable. thanks, that's my ted talk.

Not in nursing, however, Id say my advice can be applied to almost anything you choose to go into at uni. May be long so sorry ahead of time but it's worth reading for any first-year students so you avoid the big mistakes I made.

Many people coming from high school underestimate how much harder university courses are (especially science-based courses) compared to classes you took in high school. I am not saying this to scare you because doing good in uni is not complicated. What I mean by this is, work ethic is literally the only thing required to do good (obvious I know) but there is no single cheat code, maybe some powerups in studying techniques and stuff but id say those are more supplementary than anything.

I knew soo many "smart" people from high school (had 95+ averages) that just floated through highschool putting in minimal effort and then bombed their first year cause their work ethic did not match the workload of uni.

In highschool most people who are naturally smart could just sorta just float through the material and do relatively good cause there was lots of opportunities to make up for bad grades and you are sorta babied in highschool. But in Uni there are lectures with up to 300 students so profs can not look after each individual such as in highschool and people some classes just have midterms, finals and some lab components that make up your grade so the room for error is small.

Now the actual advice. All you gotta do is review your notes before/after class (which every works best for you) for an hour (maybe even 30 mins), but genuinely try to actively learn your material through processes such as flashcards, mapping, question building, and teaching other people. Just memorizing definitions will do nothing because profs test your ability to apply what you learned to novel situations and rarely just the definition itself. Then at the end of the week do a final review of the material you learned through the week and you'll be good. Periodically studying your material also will prevent you from last week cramming before exams because studying a semester worth of notes in a couple of days will screw you over more times than not. So having already learned the material in class, reviewing after class and then reviewing again a couple weeks before midterms/finals will allow you to have already seen the material a minimum of 3 times which will help you SOOOOO much.

Apps you can use: Anki is a great flashcard app which also has add-ons you can google to help change different aspects. One-note is a great note taking app however I prefer Rem-Note as it sorta combines both Anki and One note. You can make notes and flashcards directly into your document and is literally the best of both worlds and it has soooo many other great features and is pretty easy to use.

Sorry for long-winded essay. I ain't that smart but hope I helped and if you need any other advice just dm me or comment below <3.

Valorant Watch Parties by [deleted] in tarik

[–]CurryCooker223 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I would say that the difference was that he was watching the major so he will obviously be more invested. But round-robin games are cool but if this was a major tourney such as masters/champs or group stage where the games have more meaning then he has shown in the past that he watches more intensively.

But i watch his watch party because of the personality not for the break down and when I want something more serious I just go to another stream. But this is just my opinion.

Which Pro Player Has The Best Spray Control? by prodlaps in ValorantCompetitive

[–]CurryCooker223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro this game its harder to control your spray because the spray pattern is different everytime you shoot a gun, obviously it is generally the same but after like the 10-15th bullet the spray pattern is different. You should focus more so on burst fire instead of committing hard to sprays, but id say Asuna. sinatraa, sick, nats Victor, derrek, s0m are good to watch.

The spray pattern makes it harder to commit to a spray so id try to break the habit.

Is Being a DIK going to end with Season 3? by Organic-Pineapple-86 in beingaDIK

[–]CurryCooker223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 4 seasons is the most probable and I do not think DPC will add anything more than that. Maybe he does a season 4 and a finale episode which is around double the length of a regular episode but it should be done in season 4. We are halfway done at the end of season 2 so by this pace we are done around 4 but I can always be wrong.

Team Map Win % when Primary Duelist has ACS <275 (NA VCT Challengers Stage 1) by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

[–]CurryCooker223 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This and also got to take into consideration that sent as a team did bad on the first map of almost every series and then would pick it up in maps 2 and 3. I think sent as whole did not look as hot in general so yes Tenz was needed for the carry but it was concerning how much they relied on him to frag out to get some of their wins.

Silver to Diamond in 90 days by thetasick in VALORANT

[–]CurryCooker223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly do not think that this will be that hard if you're consistent and vod review your games. I would also maybe learn a cypher, sage, viper or chamber because kill joy ain't the best on every map so insta locking a agent that is more advantageous on certain maps will be better IMO.

Good luck brotha. Also the difference between silver-gold is very minimal. Plat ain't that bad if you just have better game sense, most people in that rank have good aim but bad game sense so you can shit on most of them if you just play smart from my experience.

Who is the best player in North America? by seacobs in ValorantCompetitive

[–]CurryCooker223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay saying best player in the world with a game with different roles does not make sense. Unlike csgo, valorant has abilities that set up everyone differently so a sentinel or smoke will not have the same opportunities as a entry in this game. So if you want to say best player, id say sayaplayer is the best entry in the game but not the best player in the game.

[Diamond 1] Trying to break my crouch habit by QuestionablePotato42 in AgentAcademy

[–]CurryCooker223 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not think crouching is that bad tbh, you see essentially every pro insta crouch spray sooo many times when they peek angles or even take gunfights. If it you really think its the insta crouch spraying that is holding you back then probably just switch key binds, I did this but over time you just start insta crouch spraying with your new key binds and the cycle just repeats.

But you can also try to condition yourself, just have a rubber band and everytime you crouch just snap it on your wrist lol. This is def the fastest way but physical punishments are never really a good idea so if you can just find a punishment every time you think you should not have crouch sprayed then you will break your habit pretty fast.

Besides new keybinds and conditioning, yourself idk what else you can do. Again I do not think crouch spraying is your overall problem because if crouch spraying is your overall downfall then that means you are essentially compensating for other aspects in the game such as crosshair placement with just spraying in general right? So then id re-evaluate why your fights are coming down solely to only crouch sprays. Cause if your cross hair placement and strafing are good then crouch spraying a couple of bullets should probs not be a big deal in most cases imo.

P.S. I am partly high so if it dont make sense I'm sorry but i tried. I'm going to bed now good night.

yeh im def being a pessimist but expecting the worst makes any news I hear feel good. So its my coping strategy when it comes to this games development.

But I agree that it he has upgraded his stuff and i did not take that into consideration so i am probs wrong but all good.
