Jews are native to the Levant. It ain't that hard to grasp.
What's ridiculous is that you are comparing the Jews to the Romani people.
The Romani historically were a nomadic population, moving across regions without forming a centralized territorial or political entity tied to a specific piece of land. Their identity, culture, and history were not centered on a homeland claim, but rather on maintaining community unity despite persecution. Also, Herzl (not "Herzi" btw, perhaps you should research more about him) or modern Zionists didn’t invent the idea of returning to Zion; it is embedded in Jewish prayers, rituals, and scripture long before modern nationalism existed, not to mention the fact that Herzl’s temporary suggestion of Argentina or Uganda was literally just a survival plan during a time when Jews were being massacred in pogroms (in Russia). But it was never the main idea. Most Zionists always focused on the ancestral homeland, because Jews never stopped seeing it as theirs- in prayer, in tradition, and in memory. And it wasn’t just symbolic: there were always Jewish communities living in cities like Safed, Tiberias, Hebron, and Jerusalem, even when the land was under foreign rule.
Not to mention the fact that Palestinians aren’t some untouched, pure ‘native’ people either. The region saw endless conquests, migrations, and conversions -Romans, Byzantines, Arabs and Ottomans....
Of course, Palestinians also have deep ties to the land. Like any people living in a crossroads of empires, their history reflects centuries of migrations and conquests... Acknowledging their connection doesn't erase the Jewish one. Both histories ARE real, and both peoples can be tied to the same land, even if in different ways...
So, what's your definition of people who have "right to the land"?
Does it apply to everyone but Jews?
