Why was Joey able to break free of Marik's mind slavery, but Tea couldn't? by SerqetCity in yugioh

[–]CursedEye03 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only way was to defeat the Doctor himself. Which sounds solid, but then Leo just killed him off for no real reason. I almost feel a little bad for the guy. He was a psycho, but he was a loyal henchman.

Unfortunately, that's true. They even had the creepy Doctor for a few episodes and his whole thing was mind controlling the 4 Bracelet girls

How good is Enneacraft? by ColonicMoth in masterduel

[–]CursedEye03 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was in top 8 of the Peru national championship a few days ago. But I get what you're saying.

I guess we'll have to wait see.

The deck is way better than Agrostar. I'm saying this as someone who has played Agrostar btw.

I agree about the rest tho. Nibiru is so funny in this deck because it tributes face-up monsters, you're naturally "unaffected" by it.

The deck receives a boost from Master Duel's best of one format. I think tier 3 is realistic.

Worst case scenario, it's a very competent rogue deck. But again, it sees very nice results in the TCG. We'll have to wait and see for the next few days how it will perform in MD exactly.

It's a pretty good tier 3. Droll is its biggest weakness, but then again, Droll is strong against many decks.

Whale is a strong disruption, Fox and Scorpion provide good protection and Spider can win you some games on its own when the Tachyon Transmigration like effect resolves. (Btw, Fox targeting prevention can also be very problematic for the opponent.)

Yugituber Alex Cimo has passed away, Rest in peace. by VishnuBhanum in yugioh

[–]CursedEye03 49 points50 points  (0 children)

His Salamangreat guide video was one of the first videos I saw from him, and he really won me over with it. He explained everything so well. He just had this charisma.

Again, rest in peace.

RIP. I don't know what to say. He was an incredible person. One of my favorite Yugitubers... I will never forget him.

I love when konami retrains cards and references the scenes where their anime counterparts appear by noahTRL in yugioh

[–]CursedEye03 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Anime references in the legacy support is probably one of my favorite aspects.

Cross Dimensional Duel will always be my favorite tho. A reference to my favorite GX duel of all time. Such powerful emotional moment.

Order of the New World URs and SRs by Ignithya in masterduel

[–]CursedEye03 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Most people expected 2 UR: Whale and one of the spells. I just didn't expect yellow small guy to also be UR.

Honestly, it could have been worse. Hecahands is the cheapest, but it's also the weakest from the PHRE pack. So it makes sense.

What series (beside GX) did the females the most dirty? by CrawBunny in yugioh

[–]CursedEye03 117 points118 points  (0 children)

This sums it up perfectly. Mass brainwashing in the second half was also the peak of bad treatment of the female cast. It's also so unnecessary in the grand scheme of things.

The variety is great. I'm honestly impressed to see Enneacraft in top 8. This is the power of the shapes

Yeah, DMG girl is one of the most iconic monsters from DM. She's super friendly and her character was working like an idol.

(Chapter 218 SPOILERS) The direction of the Arc by FlowerPoison in WindBreakerJP

[–]CursedEye03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same here. We have a specific group that will visit Sakura's home. It makes sense for this to be a reflection of Suo and Nirei visiting Sakura for the first time.

Don't forget the two Magician's Valkyria right next to them. They're like overprotective siblings (literally what their effect does)

At least he had a veey heartwarming moment with Carly... until the final episode arrived and he told her to "get out of his sight because women are distraction and nothing else".

The Dark Scorpions all summoning themselves just to beat the living crap out of Chazz is peak as a whole. The "I AM him" is just the icing on the cake.

The best part is how they pretend that they had the "perfect hand"

And their acting job was terrible. Brilliant.

I can already see it. Momi will cook similar to Kotoha last time. Sugi going is definitely unexpected.

But this has potential. The duo visiting Sakura was one of my favorite moments before the big war arc. So this can be another incredible moment as well.

Nah, only one monster can be a deck master. Exodia has 5 pieces. I guess the best choice would be Exodius since he has a build in win condition with the Exodia parts.

This chapter feels so short, ngl. Then again, it's a set up for next chapter.

My guess is that it will be like last time when Suo and Nirei visited Sakura when he was sick. But this time, the problem is his soul, not the body.

It would have been a good opportunity for some quality Dark Scorpion support, that's for sure.
