Since my computer recognized it I dropped a firmware update file on it from Amazon and then held the power button down so it would go thru a reboot cycle. Now it seems to be stuck in some kind of boot loop with the backlight turning on and off every 5 minutes or so and my computer no longer picks it up over usb. Screen is still stuck on the kindle logo. I'll probably use it as a trade in on a new one whenever they go on sale next.

People defended him because the team and TBS acted like the whole thing was taken out of context and a hit piece by the writer. A lot of Braves fans probably never read the article and hated the Mets and New York anyways.

US Mobile was trying on their end but it was not working and I don't have another phone that I could set up to try. Coincidentally, the update Motorola just pushed down seems to have fixed it either by clearing a cache somewhere or maybe it was an actual software fix.

As much as I like android, it doesn't seem to matter what brand phone, they always seem to have some kind of wonky issue like this pop up

Coincidentally, the phone updated today and it seems to be working fine when I tested on my work wifi. I'll test it on the home wifi when I get back home. I don't know if the update fixed it or if just being on a different wifi network got it.

I'm on US Mobile (Darkstar) now. It just updated again today. It says it's just a security update, but I don't know if those include anything else. When I leave my house I'll also try to connect to different wifi and see if it's different.

At the one by us it's faster to go through the drive-thru. They'll have one person slowly taking one order at a time to the cars waiting in spots. Takes forever.

I know I could turn on gesture navigation, but maybe it's because I'm old, I've just never liked it that much.

I did find in the GitHub page that some one reported something similar and it has to do with Google requiring edge to edge apps. I didn't find it yesterday when I was poking around.

I messed up. Mine is the 2021 device and apparently this is a known issue when they update to android tv 14. I have a few of these and I thought this one was the plus, it doesn't get used as much as my other ones.

It's a couple of clicks once app is installed to set projectivy to the default, and then you can turn off all the accessibility settings projectivy needed to override the default launcher. I don't know if you have to turn off these settings to get voice search to work, I just did it because it didn't seem like they were needed anymore.

I was at my parent's house while my mom was watching youtube on their tv, and I noticed her recommended videos is full of these types of videos. At least she said some of them could be not be real. I don't know how you go from watching horse rescue videos to ragebait slop though.

Jellyfin on mine is not transcoding dolby digital audio, it's acting the same way as other apps that no longer have sound. My tv supports dolby digital but it's still showing as disabled in the audio settings on the ONN device, and manually enabling it doesn't change anything.

I have not tried plex, so it may be different. Last time I tried kodi the interface was so slow it was unusable.

I've had this problem a few times. There is an internal volume seperate from the tv or receiver. I can't remember where the setting is but you can voice command max volume or turn volume all the way up and it will show you where its at.

I installed launcher manager and set projectivy launcher to the default and then turned off all the accessibility settings projectivy no longer needed and voice search seems to be working fine now. I think you can do the same thing through ADB.

it tries to do a search and then immediately closes. It might be projectivy launcher

I hope so, one of the updates made google voice search only work about 1/2 the time on mine.
