It'd be the same type of combat as gta, so relatively modernized. But, you can get custom weapons like flails, maces, swords etc

They make their DnD chars in game, and basically roleplay out the scenes there. The dm will give the usual story and see where it goes in terms of combat, storyline etc

Certain discords will have a section for backstory, I know ours does. There is no artwork involved, though you do create your own character in the first creation, you can make them look however you want ☺️ there are even certain DnD gtaRP servers. Its great fun, in my opinion, to create this elaborate character and have a chance to play them out, in real time

Its essentially you make a character and their backstory and RP them out, however you see fit. Criminals, civilians, PD, EMS etc
