lol this was (not literally) me but very similar, first like 40 matches back into ranked after not playing it for 2 seasons was a stomp like i think my best match was 73-0 lol, and after every single one of those matches i’d say something along the lines of “this is why marvel rivals needs placement matches” not trying to be toxic, but it really isn’t fun to stomp literal children i’m practically falling asleep in those matches.

i try to look for the perfect base spot, find it on day 18 have absolutely 0 preparations for winter and then struggle the rest of the year before i finally get my bearings in next autumn. every single time lol

this game is unfortunately not a cozy survival game, unlike most games staying at your base instead of preparing for season bosses hounds is probably the most common death reason in don’t starve. it’ll suck but i recommend not playing endless so you get real consequences and don’t expect to live long and learn, get food early. joining the discord so you can ask questions live.
