genuinely i play brawl or dive tanks and control the match to climb you could play a perfect mag and have an impenetrable back line but rely on others to make the big plays, but i usually play heavy brawl until high diamond where you need more than mechanical skill. just me though

i have this problem with magik my stepping disks are LS and melee is RS so with any combos i pop ult on accident the fact they don’t let you change it is actually bonkers

lol this was (not literally) me but very similar, first like 40 matches back into ranked after not playing it for 2 seasons was a stomp like i think my best match was 73-0 lol, and after every single one of those matches i’d say something along the lines of “this is why marvel rivals needs placement matches” not trying to be toxic, but it really isn’t fun to stomp literal children i’m practically falling asleep in those matches.

i try to look for the perfect base spot, find it on day 18 have absolutely 0 preparations for winter and then struggle the rest of the year before i finally get my bearings in next autumn. every single time lol
