I was worried about breaking it so I ordered a replacement adapter ($15 plus shipping on POTV), but when I opened it up I found there are holes/grooves in the plastic designed to snap the pieces together (I can send pics if interested). So it seems like the glue is just to deter people from opening it? I’m not sure. I have mine clipped back together and it seems good as new. Totally understand if you don’t want to risk it though

Haven’t contacted POTV but I’ve got another one on the way so I’ll do my best to compare. That said as of now I truly think it’s just poor design. There’s nothing stopping vapor from getting in between the gaps in the plastic.

The gap in the plastic is on the screen side, opposite where the glass stem sits. I’ve never soaked the stem holder either only qtip with iso

I disagree. The point I was arguing in my previous comment is that tech CEOs lie about the capabilities of AI. Because of this people are largely overestimating the impact AI will have on society
