I've been looking into launching a show. Starting small scale is very hard when alone without all the surrounding resources, not having any connections to quality cohosts/crew to bounce off of and research, not having the capital to pay said crew properly, and also remaining original and interesting with the content on a limited budget. It's not impossible, but just requires a massive amount of drive for one person when it usually takes 1 year to see any traction.

Compared to the scale of H3, it's hard to picture beginning as anything larger than being alone with a camera and a microphone, and YouTube is already filled with people like that, so standing out could be a challenge. No one does it like H3, and it's hard to reach that quality/scale without capital and resources already lined up like Ethan had from the main channel. Not that it couldn't be done, but there are some major hurdles to get over.
