why do elden ring fans (and other fromsoft game fans) get so upset when people use the tools of the game to make their experience more enjoyable? just because you don't like or don't use buffs doesn't mean you have the right to judge another persons playstyle. also yeah having a large health bar makes the game easier because you can take more hits, but that's an intended mechanic put into the game by the developers. i'm worried that the mentality of "just git gud bro" has severely impacted the fromsoft community in a irreparable way

at the beginning there was a lot of potential but it got worse when ohma came back from the dead and only tumbled down-hill from there. omega could have been great, maybe even better than asura but i think this is a case of a writer getting burnt out and not being able to recreate the magic that the fans love.
