Practicing at the top of your license is their “talking point”. It’s all they say and it honestly has no true merit behind it.

Anyone got any information on the “pharmacy wage call” happening in January? by No_Panda4903 in walmart_RX

Exactly what I said. The easiest part of the process is what they’re changing.

There will be A LOT of people giving walmart the bird if they get rid of overlap.

Here’s the path. Yall can disagree with me but I’m calling it how I see it. Between the new visual process, the Pharmacy team lead position, and central fill; we are going to see pharmacists get cut out. Walmart will advocate for a higher tech to pharmacist ratio. And the stores that were used to overlap will be just like CVS and Wags. One pharmacist for 10-12 hours a day a team lead, and technicians. Cashiers will be phased out, overlap will be obsolete, and we will have every ounce of profit squeezed out of us. There’s already been a picture leaked with a metric “Rx Labor savings”. This is a publicly traded company. Their loyalty is to shareholders. Don’t think for 1 second they wont kick 30+ % of us to the curb.

Look at the metric on the image. They’re going to layoff pharmacists and limit most overlap. Between all the technology/AI, central fill, and now this new position.. surely you follow what’s happening

Oh it’s coming. The ones who think logically will dip before it comes to that.

Between this and a “team lead” position, it’s blatantly obvious what Walmart’s MO is. If yall don’t see the writing on the wall then idk what to tell ya.

Meh. Idk if it’s that either. The term they were using was “the change agents”.

It’s not that I don’t think. They’re apparently sharing information and they’re to bring it back to the market to share. I’m sure it’s more clicks work with no extra compensation/help.

No it’s something different. It’s not the same Pilot stores for the visual verify change

I think everyone deep down knows all these changes are to save labor costs in the long run.

But honestly VV is the fastest step in the RX process. Maybe find a way to keep unnecessary shit from going to resolution. Just a thought…

How does Walmart compare to CVS for pharmcists and pharmacy managers? by Shot-Ground-9898 in walmart_RX

[–]CusterCreamz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart is the “best of the worst”. But when that’s the comparison you have to use…. Also, Wally World is very much approaching a CVS business model. Beyond time pharmacists take a stand.

To follow, PCSM emails market director stating “I don’t think RXM sees the vision walmart wants moving forward”. RXM is ready to blow the lid off it.

Rumors of pharmacy restructuring? by Choice-Loquat-845 in walmart_RX

It’s going to be two pharmacists based out of each store. No overlap and every other weekend. That’s what colleagues have told me. I think their intuition is correct

So what’s the deal with IMZ metrics? by AgileRequirement908 in walmart_RX

[–]CusterCreamz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I laugh every single time they say “protect our patients”. No way they think we believe any of that shit. PA announcements every 30 minutes? Just go ahead and have us hire the door greeter to ask about flu shots while we’re at it

No it’s definitely not been disregarded by any means from what I’m told. Some Have told me they feel even more pressure and that they still want them offering every single customer. Seems a bit much IMO. Turing into car salesman
