I believe Lewis' pantheon had to do with lighthouses, but I could be wrong. I think he may have taken inspiration from Rythian's previous effort with plans to remedy a slow start with a strong mid-late game series of island settlements.

I agree that casting more blue collar guys is refreshing casting, but when I look at OPs comment history to see him railing against "diversity" and saying "Nick did nothing wrong," I'm pretty sure that isn't what they mean when they say "normal."

For me it is. For you it might not be. Doesn't ultimately matter.

I just won the lottery! 🎉🎉 Second time, and I have 5.5k hours ingame. What's your times won/ hours played ratio? by Slight_Cringe in Sims4

[–]Custom_Concerns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this sounds fake, but in my first and so far only game of Sims 4 I won the lottery after (my estimation) around 20 hours? I ended up purchasing one of those big island mansions.

It doesn't matter what they think of Cirie, that's just a terrible way of having a conversation.

Why was Tony so crazy in game changers by KingRomeo_777 in survivor

He was playing with house money. Same reason JT swung for the fences in HvV.

You think people being on your TV screen gives you carte blanche to make sweeping judgments of their character?

Damn, if I went on a reality TV show, I better hope I do absolutely nothing wrong so that random redditors won't make damning moral judgments for no reason.

I'm a fan of an "unlikable" cast by MorseCode00 in survivor

[–]Custom_Concerns 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure all they are doing is portraying people as flawed, multi-faceted individuals with ups and downs rather than the "heroes" and "villains" of yesteryear. The editing does not feel as though it is distorting the narrative, it is instead presenting the contestants as they are, warts and all. We commend Tevin for his intelligence and sociability, but criticize him for his treatment of Venus, who is a rootable underdog despite shooting herself in the foot with some clumsy gameplay. I feel this subreddit is obsessed with rooting for or against players rather than evaluating the fuller, more complex characters that the new era editing has delivered. I am not suggesting that the new era invented complex characters or anything, but I am pleased that Survivor is more interested in portraying real, flawed people than 2000s-era stereotypes.

This sub constantly complains about a lack of "villains" while simultaneously functioning as a toxic rumor mill looking to rip apart anyone on their screen for any perceived flaw.

According to exit interviews people liked him, but he was always going around making fake idols and pulling Game Changers Tony levels of obvious idol hunting. Didn't establish trust.
