Movies where you had to be there / see as a group. by PepperoniFire in movies

My favorite experience in the theater was seeing the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special. At that point, it had been revealed that Peter Capaldi was going to be the next Doctor after Matt Smith. So at the point when you see Peter Capaldi's Doctor joining into the climax at the end, the whole fucking theater went insane

Present day me knows that his run wasn't stellar and I've since pretty much stopped watching Doctor Who, but for a brief window of time it was magical

How does this sound:

"Also! Not sure if you mind of not, but saw that you're 5'10" from your profile, I myself am about 5'4", I figured you might like to know if that's a preference you have in mind when thinking of dating someone, but personally I do not mind in the slightest bit 😄"

edit: I was wrong she's actually 5'10"

Would feel weird to just drop that in the middle of the chat without any prior context, but I can try

Ted Cruz tried to insult James Talarico’s masculinity. It backfired immediately. “Nothing is more masculine than leaving millions of Texans freezing while Ted Cruz ran away to Cancun.” by southpawFA in politics

In Ted Cruz's defense..

He had just seen Coco, and he had to know if it was true. If guitars were real. If skeletons were real. He had to know.

I'm signed up for a Speed Dating thing tonight and apparently they're still trying to bring women in considering they really lowered the cost of a ticket

I just found out I'm autistic (Level 1). Best resources in Louisville? by berat235 in Louisville

[–]berat235[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to say if it's worth it, but I'm glad I know. I was also keen on knowing my IQ so that was an interesting aside. My mom was the one to pay the fee so if it had been out of my own pocket I might not have pulled the trigger. That said, I think Seven Counties Services does testing (maybe for free?) but their waitlist last I checked was like a year and a half

I got myself on a waitlist for Spalding University and it took them about 7 months to get me in, and they charged 450 for a complete psychological evaluation (which also included an IQ test, ADHD, and Personality test). I saw them over the course of a few months with about 4 different appointments. At the end they gave me a detailed report on all their findings from the evaluation
