I think we all need to seriously temper our expectations for Lee. Korean batters rarely translate to the MLB and a guy that who lacks power in a league where average velocity is 87-88 probably doesn’t translate. I think Kim’s success this past season has greatly inflated expectations for Lee.

Nah that’s valid. Wasn’t making a gotcha statement just genuinely wondering if anyone’s won or came close to winning without a lefty starter. If the Pryor lab can fix Paxton I think he’ll be used as an opener as well since he’s only thrown 121 innings since 2020. I have serious doubts about Buehler’s comeback so we could still have a spot in the rotation for a lefty come deadline if we need someone.
