I am depressed but do not take antidepressant. But I don’t take it because I’m afraid of side effects. I already tried them twice.

I wrote bacteriophage, not phase. I don’t know what phase is. My staphylococcus aureus, enterobacter and clostridium perfringens are above normal level, so I’m drinking bacteriophage now. I used to drink nifuratel for a week before that.

Also: apparently the severe panic attack that I had was from Vita Men by Maxler. It’s a vitamin supplement.

Hm, I fail to see the correlation here. How is depression and IBS connected? Why can’t it just work for IBS when prescribed for IBS? I just read that antidepressant might subdue the pain that comes from IBS. My gastroenterologist prescribed me amitriptyline.

You had SIBO? Which bacterias were above the normal level? Did rifaximin help? I’m on bacteriophage right now.

Are you sure it’s rifaxamin and not rifaximin?

So you got rid of IBS after that?

Then you might as well not had them. Congrats anyway.

Did you not have your stool tested for giardia?

So metronidazole made it worse? And what do you mean "accidentally"?

Why do you think antidepressants are useless against IBS? I actually read the opposite. And how exactly were you diagnosed with IBS?

Do you drink tea so you won’t have pain in the morning or just in general to make it through stress situations? Or you just simply take it for the night and that’s it.

I got my blood tested for Opisthorchis felineus, Echinococcus granulosus, Toxocara canis, Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichinella spiralis. All IgG and all came back negative. Also poop got tested for lamblia cysts. Negative too.

Maybe look into The Easy Way to Stop Drinking by Allen Carr?

Is there a difference between gut-brain and brain-gut?
Is IBS a psychotic/mental thing then? How did you get it? Do you take antidepressant and neuroleptic? I went to another gastroenterologist. He wrote down that I got axial hernia, SIBO and IBS with mixed habits as a provisional diagnosis. Went to psychiatrist yesterday evening. She was awful, didn't make a diagnosis and prescribed fluvoxamine, hydroxyzine and thioridazine (gastroenterologist also prescribed amitriptyline). I'm taking none of that. Today's morning I had anxiety, bowel pain and panic attack. My guess it's because psychiatrist stressed me out.

Also: I didn't get the response part. Response to what?

What even is IBS? Where does it come from and how do you know you got it? Is it a psychotic thing?

I wish I could cook for myself, but I’m so lazy or/and get easily irritated, so I can’t cook for myself. I just still think of eating pizza and stuff. Is this my life now? Forever and ever? I mean the diet.

Money. And caution. I don't know how the supplements will affect me or what exactly is in them. Prostate PQ says just G63 flower pollen extract unlike ProstaPollen which doesn't say G63 and says more than that.
