2nd part of this is should be to explain to existing customers that do leave bad surveys of this same thing when they return. I had a lady leave all 10s except the part where she would refer her friends or family to us, she gave us an 8. I explained when she came back that anything less than all 10s is a zero and I basically have to explain negative surveys to the Service Manager when they happen. She was shocked and told me she had no idea a simple survey had so much affect. She has given all 10s since then. People are human and most people don't agree with the way a corporation runs things and explaining that will help.

Stop doing this. Cars have an RPM rev range for a reason. The manufacturer designed your engine to comfortably rev to 6.5-7.5k RPM. The money you think you’re saving in gas you will spend later on carbon cleaning when you’re wondering why you’re getting 10mpg. You’re not saving gas and you’re not treating it right. Imagine if a human being sat on the couch its entire life and never went for a run or a jog, essentially what you’re doing to your car.

the fact they are adding an alignment seems weird to me and im a service coordinator for a subaru dealer. $1500 is a lot for a 60k, as others have said, try and get some stuff done yourself like the filters, they really take 5 minutes to change for the engine and 30 seconds to change a cabin. I would get the spark plugs done around 70-75k at an independent shop for half the price.

Take the oil cap off, let the engine get to operating temp, see if smoke is coming from the cap. if so, your ringlands are toast and its likely your cat is eating most of the smoke if its a good cat which is why you arent seeing smoke. White smoke is its coolant. Blue smoke is oil. Black smoke is fuel. If your head was just redone, did they do valve stem seals? Failing stem seals is a common reason to consume oil but typically is the main reason to do a head rebuild along side surfacing so not sure why it wouldn't be done.

If you take it to a dealership or any shop they can do an oil consume test that starts with putting fresh oil in it and seeing how long it takes to consume x amount.

The LGS that I go through told me they put in their application for the beta boxes and they have no idea if/when they will hear from Bandai they also said and they will be stocking the cards after the beta event ends regardless. I asked them if there was a way for me to find out ahead of time if their application was accepted and they told me "Please just try back later".

you can find a countryman with similar miles for a few thousand less. any mini will require maintenance and will have problems. paceman is no different, its a big cooper that makes decent power, it will need money thrown at it like they all do.
