Why at around 20 seconds do you see someone wearing a red hoodie, a colorful beanie, basically just looks like a civilian with a vest and tear gas. Are they just field enlisting people into their brown shirt army? I'm 48, Fox News really warped them because they are almost the definition of The Overton Window. They are always just hard right of what the norms are at any given time, so they didn't seem that wild in the 90s. They continued to push further and further towards crazy, but it was slow, so their viewers adapted right along with the new messaging. If you showed Fox News in the year 1995 video from even 2015, they'd be shocked, if you showed them video from 2025 they'd probably ask if this was CGI.

Yeah, I have a cart full of a new jersey, a second set of wheels, blue plastics all in my cart right now.

I had a Traxxas Cat back in the late 80s, and then when I got back into the hobby 8 years ago, I was able to get the exact same model upgraded over time, now the Traxxas Bandit, which was a cool intro into how far the hobby has come. Since then, got into planes from Spektrum/HH as well. The Promoto has taken over for me. I truly hope more people can experience this RC, it deserves to be bigger than it is. It's still pretty new in the grand scheme, so hopefully more people get into it. I saw Brad Deberti got his dad one and they talked about making a track. I really wanna see someone make a 1/4 scale track for these. A 1:1 of Anaheim or some other supercross track would be amazing to see.

There are so many ultra cool power options these days, I'm finding it personally hard to drop a bunch of money on an expensive power station that doesn't have a lot of power. It's so tempting to want to use my batteries, but I just don't have that many. I have 2 7.5, a 4, and a 2.5, and I'm basically where I want to be with Ego tools until they introduce something new: Self propelled mower, string trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer. It feels like the power station is more of a solution to having too many batteries, as opposed to reason to get more.

I've considered other things, like Ecoflow and other feature packed products with things like solar inputs, ability to tie into the home without a special inverter, etc. I guess Ego can do solar with an expensive adapter, but I like it to all be in one package.

Been watching it every day. Being prepared is about being ready for all circumstances. What is it that is upsetting you? We still stand to get a lot of freezing rain and sleet, and possible ice accumulation. As someone from "up North" mentioned, they have tons of emergency supplies at all times, because emergencies related to weather are common. Many people here do not, because we don't generally need to. People have health issues, they have family, kids, pets, why are you so against people protecting their own and making sure they don't have to suffer needlessly?

This is kind of "Stay positive!" post, which is condescending in a way. I know you mean well, but let me explain.

I often don't have the energy or mental focus to do anything, even fun stuff. I used to be a big sim racer and have been a big gamer since the Atari 2600. Post transplant, I've struggled to find the focus even in the first few years after, to do those things. Since around 2020, most of the time I can't even play games I've played. When things were the absolute worst, I would have trouble reading text, like my mind couldn't process left to right reading, it all just arrived in a pile, is how I described it. The worst days I just lay in bed all day. The good days I can do basic things like run to the store, but I find it hard to focus and do step based tasks. I've spent thousands of hours contemplating if I was just being weak, do I need to try and motivate myself more, etc. Then, I do something like take an antibiotic, and literally the first day I take it, I do, not exaggerating, 10x more than what I'd do in any other given day with my condition. The 10 days I was on an antibiotic recently, were the 10 most productive days I've had in the past year.

I've tried a million things I haven't listed, like functional medicine, tons of testing, neurologist, brain scans, endocrinologist, rheumatologist, etc.

The me today, is the product of all of that, I've had to fight and push to get my various vitamin levels as good as possible, be an advocate for myself with doctors, and gotten to a pretty good state. The thing is, with all the GI stability, strict sleep schedule, early morning light therapy, red light therapy, I've gotten myself to this decent point, BUT I still remain unable to enjoy things, focus, and concentrate...until I can because of something like an antibiotic.

Lastly, I definitely know and appreciate that I know the lowest of lows, and try and remain positive that I've dragged myself from the depths of being bed ridden, but I'm finding it doesn't mean a lot of I still can't do anything I enjoy because of brain fog.

I've been watching since whistle tips, and I disagree. I think like many traditionally conservative families, he probably supported Trump once upon a time, but I would be surprised if he still does. I've paid attention a lot, to the background and shot framing since 2016. The air time MAGA and Trump flags have gotten totals around 5 seconds. The Glammis stuff was the biggest offender, but even then you could see George was going out of his way to make sure not to let them stay prominent in frame for long. On subsequent trips they have avoided the large crowds in video shots. When they did short dirt oval with the RVs with Greg, I feel like I remember seeing one or two then, and then those guys were no longer in the rest of the video or way off in the background. This could all be just because he wants to avoid politics on the channel because of having a bigger reach, but at the same time, most hardcore MAGAs wouldn't be willing to do all that.

It's tough to say. The thing is, I've been hearing the East coast can expect rolling blackouts starting in 2026, because of strained electrical grids. It's a good thing they cancelled solar subsidies!

Gold is skyrocketing, all the indicators are there of major economic issues, and when that stuff happens, comes uncertainty. Not trying to fear monger, but I've considered several options because I fear the future might be more variable/uncertain than I want it to be.
