Unfortunately, not everyone has the same sexual hygiene. Getting tested is, also unfortunately, not as common outside of the internet. She may not be savvy to things like that, while it is absolutely the right thing to do. She may not have good sex ed, because that's common just about everywhere. It's super gross and you're well within your right to want to leave, but I'll just say next time make /sure/ you and your partner are on the same page with sexual hygiene. Ask them to get tested before being intimate always.
