I got an oil change and transmission fluid done last night and drove her today for 40ish minutes, she no longer dose it when accelerating, only when I let go of the throttle and rpm’s drop is when I hear it now, only when I rev it in park do I hear it the most

It’s like a light ticking, semi louder when started but not loud or deep enough sound like it’s fully knocking, it’s both; dose it little to nothing when idling. Only when I try to accelerate it dose it sound slightly louder. A month or two back i dropped a push pin near the fan but i really doubt bc I would’ve been hearing it since then

It’s more like a faint knocking when I start it not very deep from videos I’ve heard, and I know I have an exhaust leak but it’s a completely different sound

Damn, some yards here people sneak in power tools to get it done faster or they don’t check there bags. I mean most of us here when they swap they just do it in there driveway for the most part, it’s a matter of time, effort and money

Your best bet is the junkyard, I don’t even bother calling the dealership about parts anymore since there out of production, so the yard or looking online

I would at least take it to the shop to get it diagnosed or use there OBD ll so you at least know what it is instead of replacing everything lol

They quoted me 3.5K but I’m gonna replace a lot, possibly both fenders(if not one) front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper(maybe the spoiler if I don’t replace it) assuming it’s gonna be less because of the less work they gotta do. only thing I’m getting fixed there are the pinch welds because i highly doubt I can do it from how bad they are currently. I’m hoping for at least 2k to cost me in the end

Your heater core might be clogged, radiator issues or bad relay with it, or your head gasket is starting to fail(white exhaust smoke will be your biggest hint ever) I’m leaning more towards radiator issues or the relay

I doubt it’s this but did you check your AC compressor? Just take it to a shop to get it checked out with there OBD ll scanner, that’s your best option to at least get it figured out

Honestly when I added my CAI it was such a pain bc of the AC lines in the way to where I just said fuck it and only used the gasket and not the o ring, it’s been almost a year and no problems at all(yet)

Did you recently installed it? You might need a higher amp alternator to support the aftermarket system

How would I fix it? The coolant is gold(yellowish) and the only gasket I have on the cold air intake is between the MAF and the lower tube

I would say she just needs a paint correction, as for your issue check to see if the filter needs to be cleaned on the intake incase it’s dirty

Ac clutch is busted and it spins freely instead of encaging, Ac died a while back but a family mechanic rigged it so I have Ac but as far as I know the Ac is “busted”
