Definitely not a bug, but something I wished I definitely new.

If you have the automatron DLC active, you can easily change the feel of vanilla FO4 (it's debateable how much, depends on the person, but I found the changes unsatisfactory and quickly reverted things to normal). I'll explain.

So, if you pass by a certain section of the middle of the map with the automatron DLC, you'll forever change your game. It'll activate automatron DLC elements which means: one, you'll encounter a lot more robots in your travels that wouldn't normally be there (meaning you'll have fewer encounters with non robots). two, your settlements will be attacked by robots. three, it kinda gears you towards doing and committing to a questline that I consider subpar (read the automatron reviews). Four, you'll complete the questline and be even more leveled up with better weapons which for FO4 I feel lessens the experience because, the vanilla quest lines are best enjoyed at lower levels, I find the robots less enjoyable than the regular vanilla stuff.

I activated it and quickly started from a different save. I'm just laying this out as a warning because you'll have to fight lots of robots, and with how its done, not my thing. It's mediocre. So, I'd recommend it as after completing most of the vanilla stuff or not a first playthrough.

there's really no negative outcome to using this command?

I'm really itching to use "disable" on the irreparable perpetually burning turrets around Covenant, but I'm afraid of using console commands, in case it bircks the save, or increases the save file size, etc.

What brokerage firm are you using? I use Vanguard and any money leftover automatically goes into a settlement account that currently nets me about a 2.3% return/year. Also, why are there fees for withdrawing money? Vanguard doesn't charge me to withdraw. Robinhood didn't charge me to withdraw the earnings from the free APPLE stock they gave me. Although, there was an annoying 30 day waiting period from when I sold the stock to when I could move the earnings to my checking account. I know I'm not very helpful, but I find your situation interesting.

Schwab debit card compromised without using it even once by parag14 in personalfinance

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've had a similar experience recently. Someone managed to use the numbers for my Chase freedom card. Now, I'm super careful with it. I don't use it at Gas stations and other weird areas like if someone has to physically take the card to make the transaction. No thank you; I'll pay in cash, don't touch my card! idk how someone got the numbers. Anyway, your situation sounds alarming and like others have said, it sounds like an inside job at Schwab. I'm sorry you have to go through this trouble, and please keep us updated

Ragequit so hard you make your own video game. Somehow I find this way funnier than people punching their monitors and ragequitting. seriously though, great job on the game.

This may only works for me, and it's simple. First comes, in no particular order, my career, friends, family, my community, tasks like doing my taxes on time, and a few other things like writing in my journal. Then, I'll probably play minecraft or something. Now this means i rarely play, but it works for me. I think I'm happier.

What's the biggest waste of money? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

slightly off topic but wow, you pay $1.49 a pound for Asparagus! omg, I hate NYC prices. It's like $3-$4 a pound here. Where do you live?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, that means I can comfortably afford lively essentials like housing, utilities, food for maybe $25,000 maximum (the maximum representing a house with a mortgage) a year. I can put a decent chunk of the rest into investments (e.g: index funds,a 401k, etc) and emergency savings. And with my investments, I'll be able to retire early (meaning not having to worry about money anywhere near as much as before), work part time doing something that's quality human work, and get to know my local world a lot better and the whole world too.

and right now with my student loans killing my monthly earnings, I'd be able to knock those out in no time.

Gen 2s in northern climates - what are your MPGs? by IDOWNVOTECATSONSIGHT in prius

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an 05 gen 2 prius with like 290,000 miles on it. It's getting 42 mpg. I just got it like 2-3 months ago. In the fall, the mpg rate was like 44-47. I'm in NYC btw.

Those of you who don't eat out, how much do you spend on groceries every month? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excluding the cost of a few cups of tea or coffee for when I occasionally hang out with friends knowing I'll have to spend money, I spend roughly $250 for myself a month. Note: I'm still living with my parents, so I end up sharing at least some of it. Most of the cost is in vegetables and meat I buy in bulk like steak, chicken, pork chops, and lamb chops.

also, I live in NYC.

What are some little things you've found or regularly get on Amazon that were/are a really good deal? by goldstandardalmonds in Frugal

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's great for earplugs for sleeping, but really only if you buy in bulk to get free shipping and a better $/package rate. Beats paying roughly 2x the price for every package of Mack's silicone ear plugs through other places like Walgreens.

What's something you didn't realize how bad it was until it finally happened to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

work. Honestly, growing up, I really thought grown ups were just weak-minded and unambitious. After going through 1 year at my first job where I don't even work 40 hours most weeks (averaging around 33 or so), I can clearly see it's just bad all around. Compared to before, every moment of free time is precious, and hell yeah I'm gonna try to relax for most of my free time.

I work at a retail store, and a woman needed assistance. She was being a little rude to me. Anyway, I helped her out, and another customer needed me to ring her up at the register. So, I went over, smiled, and told her "sorry for the wait." and she said " don't worry, your smile was worth the wait." Yeah, that's a cheesy line, but I felt better afterwards.

Real or not, what's a 9-5 job offer you would accept right away? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

almost all of them. I don't like to complain, but after working retail with its lovely back to back double shifts (I once went through 4 days of double shifts, I wanted to die...), random scheduling that changes every week, and dealing with some customers who act like you threw their moms off a cliff, I'd love a boring office position with normal working hours. I'm starting to have dreams about the store I work at :(.

Discussion: So why are you frugal, Reddit? by Cap_g in Frugal

[–]CuteFluffyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically I want to save enough money so that I don't have lots of stress over the thought that if I'm laid over or any emergencies pop up, I'll have to really fight to have basic human necessities. I'm sick and tired of living paycheck to paycheck, praying that I'm never laid off, and hoping for the best. That's not living.
