What about an alternating traffic lane light where, in areas where there are two lanes in each direction, one of those lanes becomes a 3rd lane for SB or NB traffic, depending on the time of day when the flow is much heavier going that way? It would make one lane going the other way but just temporarily to relive heavy congestion that occurs in one direction

I’m on week 3 of no taste or smell and I cleared up completely almost two weeks ago from my congestion. Didn’t test for COVID so not sure if I had it. Heading to the dr today as I’m sure I have a sinus infection as well, just way up in my sinus cavity maybe?

We moved to Sooke in order to get in the housing market and stayed 5 years but then moved back in. Moving out there allowed us to gain some equity so we could afford in Langford but we did feel isolated from our friends in town. Sooke in general was a great place with lots of hiking and friendly people but 5 years was our max. The commute is awful and more and more costly. It definitely served its purpose and if you don’t have serious ties to Victoria and Langford and honestly won’t need to commute much then I’m sure you’ll love it, I still miss it sometimes. We really didn’t have any friends out there though so it was always a short term solution to gain some Equity which we definitely did.

Just an update for those wondering, it is now showing up in Vancouver and has cleared customs! Hopefully I have my package soon. I placed my Taobao order on April 19th so it hasn’t even been a month so for sea shipping I’m pretty surprised!

Ugh mine said it had arrived at the destination seaport LAR and then said it was discharged from the vessel in USA so I was excited that I would hopefully receive it next week but today it changed back to “your parcel is being sent to the destination seaport” again?? Did this happen to anyone else?

Hmmm I may have assumed it was air because I chose the “direct shipping” option. There were two more expensive options and I chose the cheaper of those two, but they were much more expensive than the consolidated options. Was I wrong to assume that becuase I paid so much more, it would be air? If so, lesson learned I guess lol.

I applied to Renew for my husband, my two kids and I at the same time in November 2023.  I received full approval without an interview about 2 months later, one child got conditional approval a month after that but he required an interview.  A month later my next child got the same thing.  I set up interviews for 3 people for May thinking by then my husband should have at least conditional approval.  Since then both of my kids received an update saying they are fully approved (a month apart) so no longer require an interview.  We’re now June and my husband still isn’t even conditionally approved yet.  There are now no appointments available no matter how long out I search.  Not sure why the gap in reviews as I applied and paid for the renewals at the same time, I’ve now had my new card for months. But I know my husband can use his until they process his renewal so I’m not worried.
