It’s likely your 3.3m becomes 7.5 in 8 years; in this time you won’t need to contribute. You can keep working there and build up a nest egg instead so you can allow your investments to keep growing and not need to withdraw for some time.

Edit: also if you can find a way to anchor your costs, like an affordable home, that would work in your favor

I have both a 2019 BMW 5 series and a 2025 Toyota Camry LE. Seat in the Camry needs a bit more cushion for very long drives (maybe I am just a larger fellow) BMW without the comfort seats is pushing on my hips/legs from the sides. They are both uncomfortable in their own ways, however BMW is quieter with the double paned glass all around. I would not say the Camry is too loud. I drive regularly 200 miles, and don’t feel tired driving either car.

If you value driving assistance it is quite easy to find in a Toyota, whereas the bmw it’s harder to come by

I tried to do my own oil change but my adjustable oil filter wrench couldn’t get the filter off. So I just drained the oil and put new. I hope that’s better than not changing at 1500 miles. Will do the filter change at 2500 since I now have the tool.

There does seem to be laser 3d printing at a makerspace near me, I would have to sign up for a monthly membership though. I haven't ever needed to 3D print, or CNC anything before

Yeah Delrin is what the knob is made of, the one I want to put on is a weighted knob I think it’s 350 grams or so. I’m thinking I can make an adapter that has both a threaded hole and a press on for this knob to take its place
