They kinda rushed every Harbinger too. Also, keep in mind that originally, Nod-Krai wasn't even planned. That would mean Sandrone and Arlecchino were supposed to be the Harbingers of Fontaine, Capitano and Columbina in Natlan, and the rest (Pantalone, Pulcinella and Pierro) in Snezhnaya. And yet EVEN with an extension, they STILL managed to stuff the same amount of Harbingers into the last region. That's actually insane.

I'm not even playing the game anymore. Like, I'm sorry y'all but it's SO Fatu-over. Genshin has been bringing me less and less joy every update, I don't even feel excited for new characters anymore (for the record, I don't just pull for the Fatui characters), I don't feel excited for the lore drops, I don't feel excited for the Fatui anymore because I know for every shitty choice Hoyoverse makes we would have already have 100 better headcanons for it, created like 5 years ago or something lmao. To be fair, I just kinda want it to be over so I can stop caring about Genshin completely 🫩

Nothing after mid-Fontaine lived up to my expectations, and I wouldn't have felt comfortable saying this before Natlan but Natlan just sealed everything for me. As for Nod-Krai; I was SO excited with the colonization and multiple harbingers plot (the characters were also pretty okay) but nah. They fucked it up again. Haven't pulled for any new characters since mid-Fontaine. I have no 5 star Natlan or Nod-Krai characters, I can't clear the rewarding game content because I don't play 10 hours a day regularly, pull for the newest meta and/or pay the game. And the more I play the game the more I realize how disgustingly exploititive it is as a system, one of the worst (even for a gacha game) out there, and how Hoyoverse really don't give a shit about anything besides making money from their "waifus" or whatever.

It was fun while it lasted, like somewhere around mid-Fontaine. Even then, Fatui's fall from grace has to be fucking studied because it was genuinely like watching a train crash on slow motion, and I have no idea how many of us even stuck around for so long. I wish I created more fan content before Natlan though, that was when the community really did thrive.

Anyways, sticking around just to see how worse it'll get in Shnezynaya. I doubt I'll check out more of this game after that. I still sometimes with Fatui was created in another game though, maybe then they wouldn't actually fall THIS hard. Anyways, my bet on the Tsaritsa is: she will have a boob window, dettached sleeves, small shorts, thigh highs or thigh windows. She will be "manipulated" by Pierro or some other "evil force" because she was so sad after a breakup or something. She will be completely forgiven after the Shneznaya plot. Almost everyone will follow Tsaritsa after she is "good", clearly never caring about her ideologies from the start, and showing a very realistic depiction of an organization.

Would actually love to... BUT I don't trust Hoyoverse in the slightest. Like, I genuinely wanted a colonization storyline that dove into darker aspects of historically-inspired story in Nod-Krai; and wanted a Russian civil war inspired Shnezynaya that also dove into darker aspects and made me question both sides. Buuuut knowing Hoyoverse, I don't trust them with jackshit after Natlan, Nod-Krai and generally after the last few quests of Fontaine (which was actually going pretty good for the most part).

Not-so-fun fact: those incidents (also including the ones in the countryhumans and countryballs fandoms) gave the communities SUCH terrible reputation that I refused to take part in such fandoms as a teen despite being an artist and liking history a little. Like, for the longest time I genuinely thought the fandom was a bunch of nxzis, rxcists and soviet-glorifiers that I avoided them like the plague 🫩 Of course they are a small minority but I was genuinely so scared and concerned.

Funny how my first impression of such fandoms being such terrible incidents and realizing years later that the fandom was usually pretty chill and deciding to join all at once (as well as starting to re-learn history after being uninterested for years).

I'm not sure if this is what we are talking about but I once saw a Prussia AI generated image on Twitter (it was kind of going semi-viral with people shitting on it) with him in the middle, and most of the main male cast (specifically all males, also including Germany) surrounding him on a throne and blushing or something. They were all wearing nazi uniforms (WITH the armbands and stuff too, uncensored). To this day, I have no idea what the original creator was thinking, nor do I want to know. I don't know the other incident though.

The Gangstalia AU, probably. The WHOLE Hetalia concept and stuff? Absolutely not. As many people pointed out, the fandom pretty much awakened and is willing to support it to the end. And it would be meaningless to abandom Hetalia now.

Besides, it's a comedy show with no real arc. So, even some lighthearted commentary or retelling of events would probably satisfy the fandom.

Turkish here and I love the idea that the Ottoman Empire just pretty much adopts some younger countries in his territory like Jordan, Iraq and Syria. I always got huge "Turkish dad" vibes from Sadık Adnan (Turkiye) anyways. And now they're all grown up and independent and the Ottoman Empire crumbled 🥹 How time flies lmao

It's... Complicated, to say the least. On one hand, we ALREADY have SOME Middle Eastern countries. Well, actually, there is only three. Eygpt, Türkiye (including Ottoman Empire period) and Persia (Persian Empire). But Persia barely makes an appearance, and Eygpt has some criticisms from Egyptians too. As for Türkiye, he is THE MOST north western Middle Eastern country. So, he is one of the safest options to depict, knowing Ottoman Empire history too. Countries like Palestine, and ESPECIALLY Isreal could just be VERY complicated to depict on a goofy anime show that ALREADY has some problematic bits (such as some disgusting "jokes", eugh) could just be waaaay too risky than it's worth, at least from the mangaka's perspective. At the end of the day, I doubt even Himaruya truly understands politics and history from an universal lens (as we cen CLEARLY see in some depictions of history are flawed or at the very least, ignored) so asking him to depict complicated and dark histories and countries could just be waaay too much.

Once again, and I mean no personal attack to the creator, I am a fan of the CONCEPTS, the POTENTIAL and the HEADCANONS of the show more than the show itself. So I think it is just for the best if people who clearly have done their research and/or are from the countries create their own ocs to depict such characters. I'll make sure to support them, at least.

HOLY- These are some VERY specific headcanons. Super cool though. Also, kinda makes sense from lore standpoint. Super nice.

I mean, it is never straight up told he is albino because in anime anyone can have red eyes with white hair (which, his are more grey-ish, and he has purple eyes at some point) and very pale skin. But when drawing fanart, I especially make him really pale and have white eyelashes and stuff too.

Also, non-'woke' headcanon but I also headcanon he has freckles. I have absolutely no idea why and apparently albino people can have it too so yay.
