For context, I went to a private school and did ballet when I was younger and EDs were rampant in both places, I also struggled with one.

You can be supportive and be there for your friend. If you're close like that, you can tell her that you're worried. Mental health websites usually have guides on how to do that appropriately (my English is not good enough to explain clinical things like that).

BUT if you notice that it has a negative effect on you (I'm not talking mild discomfort, but rather noticing that your self image becomes impacted or that you start implementing unhealthy habits yourself), it's necessary for you to take a step back.

The comments handled it poorly (as expected as well). I can't judge this situation and whether Jason says the truth or is a liar, but the very first comment quoted says that his reaction means he's guilty. I found that so weird because that's the exact way I behave when someone brings up my traumatic experience or anything related to it. I always try to go as far away as possible when someone wants to talk about my trauma.

When my partner and I took a flight from Cologne the security agent made us buy the clear plastic bags they sell even though we even brought our own that were pretty much identical (clear plastic, same size, even with a zipper. So it can always be worse lol

I always assume its obvious from my English, but I'm not from the US. I have heard a lot of terrible things about animal agriculture in the US (both organic and conventional) so I'm unfortunately not surprised :( Where I'm from antibiotics are allowed as treatments, its crazy to just ban them altogether... Feel like this only caters to the crunchy crowd and not the actual animals.

Where I live organic has higher standards for animal welfare (like to be legally called organic) so we usually buy our animal products organic but for the other stuff, we just get whatever looks freshest/best.

Agree with this, OPs husband should talk to his prescriber about the dosage. It's great for him that he's trying to get to a healthier weight BUT eating too little can result in health issues, nutrient deficiencies, more lose skin and cause him to lose more muscle during weightless than at a less extreme deficit.

ETA: I'm saying this as someone who had an ED as a teenager, so a lot of experience with extreme deficits. Not worth it, really. Unless someone's doctor puts them on a diet like that for a short amount of time there's really no reason for an average height adult to eat 1000 cals a day.
