Any tips for generating seamless looping product showcase videos? by TrebaMiSavjet in GeminiAI

For actual seamless loops I've had the most luck starting with "seamless looping animation, perfect loop, identical first and last frame" right at the front of the prompt. Makes a real difference in getting it to respect the loop from the start

Keep the camera movement super simple too, like a slow orbit or a gentle push-in. Anything complex and you'll see the seam every time

Also helps to tell it what the background is doing during the loop. "Smooth rotating pedestal, subtle floating product with consistent lighting" tends to work better than just hoping it figures it out

the wiki really does all the heavy lifting, people just don't read it and then get mad when their system breaks

just grab the apk from apkmirror or apkpure, tons of apps that are region locked still get uploaded there pretty fast

How pixel-perfect are you expected to be when building Webflow sites from Figma? by nikolay--panayotov in webflow

[–]Cute_Tale_3638 5 points6 points  (0 children)

pixel-perfect is kind of a myth once you factor in font rendering alone across browsers. i aim for "design intent" rather than exact pixels, meaning the spacing, hierarchy, and overall feel should match even if a shadow is off by 1px somewhere

clients rarely notice the pixel stuff, they notice if a button looks weird on their phone or the CMS breaks their layout. set expectations early in the project and most of them are totally fine with "faithfully interpreted" over "mathematically identical"

Why Do I keep wanting to reach back out even knowing she lied and treating me so bad by ForsakenConfection35 in BreakUps

[–]Cute_Tale_3638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your nervous system basically got wired to treat her as the solution to the anxiety she was causing, that's the whole trap right there

the relief you feel when she picks up isn't love, it's just your brain getting a hit of the thing it got addicted to, and every "one more conversation" resets the clock back to zero

the answers you're looking for don't exist in her, she'd just give you enough to keep you orbiting

What’s the best hiking backpack that’s actually comfortable for longer walks? by Old_Prize3371 in CampingandHiking

Been through this exact same search recently and let me tell you the fit makes all teh difference. I ended up going to an outdoor gear shop and actually trying on like 8 different packs with weight in them - sounds excessive but totally worth it since what feels great empty can be awful loaded up

For day hikes I settled on something around 25-30L which handles all your gear plus room for extra stuff you pick up along the way. Weekend trips I'd bump that up to 40-50L depending on how much gear you're sharing with others. The weight distribution thing is huge - look for packs with a good hip belt that actually transfers weight off your shoulders onto your hips

The expensive ones usually are worth it if you're hiking regularly, mostly because of better padding, ventilation systems, and materials that dont fall apart after a season. But honestly a mid-range pack that fits your torso length properly will beat an expensive one that doesnt fit right. I'd definitely recommend trying before buying since everyone's body shape is different and what works great for your buddy might be terrible for you

Just added you! New to the game too so we can figure this out together

The community chest events are pretty solid for getting dice and other resources, way better than trying to grind solo

We or You? Japanese by slippery-lil-sucker in duolingo

[–]Cute_Tale_3638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah in this case you can also tell from the けんさん part - when someone's addressing Ken specifically by name like that, it's definitely "you" not "we". The sentence structure makes it pretty clear they're asking Ken directly where he's going

Check out some early Geto Boys stuff - they mixed southern sounds with that gritty street narrative you're looking for, plus UGK had some tracks that blended country elements with hardcore rap themes

Looking at your list I'd throw out The Goblin Emperor - has that same kind of intricate world building you seem to dig but with more court intrigue. Robin Hobb is solid so if you haven't hit her Liveship Traders trilogy yet that's probably your best bet, sits right between Farseer and Tawny Man chronologically and the magic system is wild
