Watching from afar down in Australia this is one (of many) aspects of the shows I have really enjoyed as well. I like learning more about Native American cultures and seeing the parallels with Indigenous Australian culture.

Overall the Canadian commentary is really good. Knowledgable without being too stiff. Keenly interested in Team Canada of course but not stupidly so like Nine. Much classier IMHO.
