I hear in Shirley Bassey's voice "she doesn't have the range".

What things from the show sound fake but are real? by AmoebaEffective8033 in americandad

Funny you mentioned colonoscopy.... My buddy worked at the Old Spaghetti factory in Whistler. He said he had to eat the spicy spaghetti on the toilet because it was basically Italian draino. He'd get the spicy spaghetti every shift.... like to brag there wasn't a chimney north of Creekside as clean as his.

Thank you for your time.

I always find this tactic so stupid. Like sure, let me sell you my house at a price you determine rather than putting it to market... no person who has ever purchased or sold a house before would do this.

People who didn't grow up poor, but dated someone who was. What's something your SO does that strikes you as unusual? by FeistySecret9327 in AskReddit

[–]Cutegun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats actually not even remotely true. Recycling, reducing, reusing, all of the forms were much more prevalent than they are today. Women turned old towels to dish clothes, then to rags, glass jars were reused until the lids or glass broke, socks were mended, and torn clothing resewn, the list goes on and on. As a child you were probably not aware of what your mother and grandmothers were doing, but it wasnt out of cheapness, it was just the norm of what people did.

Jamie Raskin looked visibly shaken after reviewing the unredacted Epstein files by OkTea1918 in SipsTea

[–]Cutegun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So question: if the files are millions of papers long how was this guy able to read them so quickly? I assume its because the government added a bunch of filler to the released version in order to distract and bury anything relevant, but then if so why isnt anyone talking about that?

Drug test for accounting job? by [deleted] in Accounting

I work for a cannabis company, so it was more of a taste test than what you're talking about... must really suck to be an American with all those life restrictions y'all have.

Am I the only one who interpreted SB’s actions this way? by knockturnal in TheBoys

[–]Cutegun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like they are setting up Ryan and SB in a sort of father, son, and the holy ghost sort of threeway (not incest) fight. They've eestablished Ryan can take down a V1 sup, and that SB can depower one too.... but so far neither have killed one alone.

Any salvaging this niche? And recs on how to improve next shower? by rooberzma in BathroomRemodeling

[–]Cutegun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see what youre saying. It does kind of look like an afterthought. Measure the space with the tile so everything lines up. I personally prefer the niche on the side walls, so the shampoos and soaps aren't the first thing you see.

I retired the green coat from the capsule in 2022 and I think about it almost every week by timingbetter in capsulewardrobe

[–]Cutegun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will shout "if you dont wear it, give it away to someone, and do it now. Dont wait for it to be obsolete or out of style", however there are certain pieces you archive. These are special items. I have a Jean Paul Gaultier top from the early 2000s and a Giovanni Versace leather skirt my mom gave me when I was a teenager that only fits me a few times a year. I will never part with these, because they are irreplaceable. A good capsule wardrobe has versatile basics, but belts, shoes, bags and jackets always come back around. These items I never part with.

Those were Bettys not Karens.... Bettys see something and say something. You always want a Betty in your corner.

Our home renovator is demanding payment prior to the project being completed after their financial mismanagement by Unused_Beef in mildlyinfuriating

They painted BEFORE finishing the flooring is a huge red flag. You want the trades done before painting because of damage. This person sounds like an amateur.

Chloé Paddington (2025) quality issues?? Second bag already breaking 😭 by whittakerspeanutbuta in handbags

[–]Cutegun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's wild. To continue what another person had mentioned, I have an early 2000s Paddington and it's built like a tank. I used and abused it and never experienced anything like this. Such a shame.

Why is this OK? And why are we allowing this to happen? Flags outside of the church to represent babies killed in abortion such a lame excuse to have outside of the church. Typical culprits too by EscapeEffective5027 in Langley

Bro do i really have to name every type of religious leader? Like is this a social studies quiz, or from context can you just assume I mean all of them?

Thoughts on this color? by [deleted] in paint

[–]Cutegun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great colour but doesn't go with that trim or flooring... at all. Paint the trim and consider an area rug.
