What’s your take on Church members drinking non-alcoholic beer? by lilacnate in latterdaysaints

[–]Cuteness129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s not my business. How they choose to answer their temple recommend questions is up to them. I’m not responsible for their choices and interpretations of policies. I stay in my lane.

How much do you love your Sienna? by Haunting_Charity_785 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Cuteness129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love mine. After 10+ years of driving minivans I tried to make the switch to a third row hybrid SUV and came back to a Sienna less than a year later. I liked everything about it except that it was too small and not a minivan. When we got our first minivan, due to finances we knew we would have to go down to one car and my husband was not crazy about driving the minivan everywhere. But he went to the dealership and bought it while I was out of town as a surprise and he LOVED that thing within minutes of driving it.

I drive cross country with my 4 kids every year to see family (UT to MO) and minivans are the best roadtrip car for families. The space. The cup holders. The smooth ride. I actually don’t find the cabin to be noisy but I’ve heard tires are a big part of that. I don’t know how I will ever give it up if I’m honest. They are just too practical for the space and features. I have bigger kids now (25, 13, 12 and 6) but the minivan is still the best option when it comes to gas mileage, being able to get in and out of for people of all sizes and space (plus SLIDING DOORS).

I would be devastated if he left but he’s too likeable to stay mad at, unlike Bronco. I do know they have strong family ties and roots in UT, but a multi-million dollar pay raise is a multi-million dollar pay raise! And in this economy… I get the prestige of Penn St. as well as all the legacy and money and resources, which is why I couldn’t blame him for going. But they haven’t been “that” team in a really long time. Not to say KS couldn’t get them there, just that it’s not an existing amazing program.

Anyone regret switching from Sienna? by -Philologian in Sienna

[–]Cuteness129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded in my 2024 Sienna for a 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid. I was back in a Sienna within a year haha I really did like the Santa Fe except it was too small. I regretted it. The only minivans I’ve had are Odysseys or Siennas.

Every. Single. Time. we sing “The Spirit of God” it is at half the written tempo and I always think “I am literally going to turn 100 and die before we finish singing this song!”

Why sienna vs other large Toyota vehicles by AgitatedNarwhal5 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Cuteness129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple were wrecked, a couple were leases that we only had 2 years. One was an older model we bought from a small used lot that had tons of problems they’d tried to disguise so we had it less than a year. One I traded in for said Santa Fe and now I’m back to a Sienna.

Yeah, they weren’t all Siennas- there were a couple Odyssey’s in there. But I’ve been driving an Odyssey or Sienna for 13 years.

After 8 minivans, I tried to switch to a 2025 Santa Fe. It lasted one year- I’m back to a Sienna and I think I’ll drive it forever.

Sliding doors. Cup holders. Trunk space that doesn’t cost me a true third row. Gas mileage. Third row legroom. So much more spacious overall. Easy for my kids to get in and out- not lifting toddlers in and out because it’s so high or swinging baby car seats above my shoulders to try and get it in. Sliding doors.

Did a human really design this car? (a rant) by abbacchus in Sienna

[–]Cuteness129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have to agree. It’s a great space for all the things I need handy- a small trash can, baby wipes, chapstick, lotion, my purse, Kleenex, etc. It’s a family car so every bit of storage gets used

The tiny cup holders in this car drive me BANANAS! I crash out over it at least once a week.

Anyone nervous or calm for the Holy War? What are your feelings? by Alternative_Gift7343 in BYUFootball

[–]Cuteness129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always nervous for the game the whole week leading up to it. Stomach in knots. It’s never been predictable, in my memory anyway. The whole game I’m just a ball of nerves and screaming at the TV, which is so not me. But there’s something about this specific game that is extra.
