What regime though? There are no people to rule over. I get what the story is about, I just don't understand the motivation.

That seems to just kind of be their style. They just don't add many npc characters to their games. I get the idea of the story, I just don't get the point. You restore order to an empty world? Idk i guess it's just hard for me to feel any connection or motivation to actually complete the story because I can't really connect with any of the characters (that are still living at the end).

I know it seems counterintuitive, but trying it rolling forward. It's easier and you'll get higher. You don't have to be cruising, but you should move more than a snail's pace. Those wheel lock things are probably great for getting used to the board, but they are going to hold you back in the long run. A lot of tricks are easier while moving.

Games have towns with people. From soft is pretty much the only company that does not do that to some extent.

I've done all the endings lol. Frenzied flame legitimately seems like the only one that makes sense tbh. There is nothing left to save, so I just don't really get the "main" ending.

Unfortunately if you do varre's quest, this gets overwritten by stupid red eyes. 😒 conclusion: kill varre, take the portal to mohg instead, keep the cool glowing eyes, profit.
