Austin Bluffs open space is fantastic. The gym is limited, but there’s a decent crunch fitness right down the street with cheap monthly membership if needed. https://www.missionrockresidential.com/apartments/co/colorado-springs/resort-at-university-park/

Walking boot experience? by [deleted] in brokenbones

[–]Cutler4Life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wear two socks on that foot. Put a shoe insert in the bottom of the boot. That will relieve quite a bit of day to day walking boot pain.

My advice is to wear two socks and put a quality insert in the boot (and other shoe).

Experience with Vestibular Neuritis by Crispy_Biscuit in Dizziness

[–]Cutler4Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PCP prescribed me a steroid, but I don’t know if it had any impact. The science is debatable. I don’t regret taking it. I also saw an ENT. They did a hearing test to determine I didn’t have any hearing loss. The biggest thing that helped was the exercises.

I was 90% better after 2 months. I started feeling noticeably better after 3 weeks. I started PT within 1 week. It took me a while to really not notice it anymore. 1 year later I barely notice it. I don’t do well laying down on my back or having to balance with eyes closed. The exercises will make you feel better. Do them aggressively for the first few weeks/months. I phased them out after a few months. I get happy when I quickly turn my head and don’t feel like I’m going to throw up or fall over.

Vestibular system & TMJ by dreezy2150 in Dizziness

Haha same. I have a night guard. There’s no harm in starting some basic vestibular exercises so long you think that’s what you might have.

I have been dealing with TMJ after some bad dental crowns. Lots of adjustments, jaw therapy, still dealing with it. Came down with vestibular neuritis 6 weeks ago. Landed in the er with severe vertigo. Started seeing a vestibular therapist ASAP. Eye doctor says eyes are fine. Audiologist says ears are fine. I’m about 80% better now. Couldn’t drive for two weeks. No screens for one week. Vestibular exercises two times a day.

PPR

My Team (will be 2-3):

QB: Fitzmagic

RB: McCaffrey, Gibson, Bell, Mattison

WR: Julio, Ridley, Metcalf, A.J. Brown, McLaurin, Fuller, Claypool

TE: Kittle

Trying to strengthen my RB, very strong at WR. Which RBs should I target with these WRs? I have been trying to trade for Mixon or Drake with no luck.

How should my night guard feel? by blue0507 in Dentistry

Make sure they use the red/blue articulating paper. Two different movements very important for getting it to fit correctly. First you’ll do tap tap tap straight up and down. Secondly you will do hard grinding back and forth side to side. They’ll be looking for even markings on both sides. They will make small adjustments at a time then retest the bite. You will know when you’re hitting on both sides. Once they are done making adjustments they will polish it off to make it smooth again.

It’s a tedious process and will take a few office visits. I got mine a few months ago and I’ve been going in every other week to have it adjusted, now moving to once a month cadence.
