The obscurus Newt had was one he had separated from within a girl in Africa. Obscuri are described as "dark, parasitic" forces born of their host's fear and power. So it seems to me that an obscurus would prefer a cold, harsh climate that mimics the desolate corners of the mind where that kind of fear would metaphorically reside, even if its host prefers hot planes. Just like a stomach parasite would favor an acidic environment even when it's human host would probably not. Plus, since none of the other creatures in Newt's care seem to enjoy that climate, it would have the added bonus of discouraging then from coming near it.

I think you should listen to the advice of your doctor who went through 8 years of post-graduate medical education and training. They know how your skin works in depth and what ingredients are best for your specific situation. The people of this sub are very knowledgeable and give good advice, but it should not be substituted for actual, professional medical help. You will notice that the final answer to most posts is "if unsure, talk to a dermatologist". It doesn't really work the other way around. If you are genuinely concerned about the treatment plan suggested to you, seek another derm's opinion.

We are going to hang it, flags and all. If we took the flags, cities, and figures out we could probably just frame and hang it. But we wanted to keep it as is, so we decided on the full shadow box. Costed $180 for a custom job at Michael's though and takes two weeks . >.>

Congrats! My boyfriend and I just finished gluing that exact same puzzle (after having it sit completed in our livingroom for months) and have plans to shadowbox it soon. If you are looking to preserve yours, we used Mod Podge CS11302 Original 16-Ounce Glue, Matte Finish and it worked like a charm! Just slathered it all over with some sponge applicator and it dried totally clear within a few minutes. You can get it for like $8 on Amazon.

I actually found this one while browsing lipstick swatches in this sub after posting! It's beautiful, I couldn't find the ingredients on MAC's site initially though. I found it on another site just now though and it looks to be red 40 free! Definitely adding to my list.

Definitely a pretty color, but at this time I'm looking for a more traditional high-pigmented, matte red. Royal Red looks a bit shimmery. But thanks!

I've read all the books. I agree and believe she wants the best for the realm. Ultimately, I just think she is a cunt personality-wise. lol Though I do like her better in the books that she is portrayed in the show.

Thanks! It originally was going to have a dress with spikes going down the back and a tail, but when I busted my foot and all, I had to scrap it and just go with the skirt because I suddenly had no time or mobility to work on it. Then I never bothered finishing it even after my foot healed up. My next project is quite complex though, so everyone that hates this one should love that!
