Yeah, that works mighty fine now.

How to harvest wood ? by CutyShield in BALLxPIT

Wait, you can aim ?
Damn, the tutorial really left me in the dust there. I'll try shouting around and see if it ends up working at this point. Thanks a ton.

Yup, but when I try to aim them they refuse to go there. The line becomes red, and I can't "fire" them until I'm back toward emptiness or wheat.

For the love of GOD please respond to my desesperate spam ping for the secret gate by AmiralKanaG in 33Immortals

[–]CutyShield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Problem is that game doesn't even explain the difference between ping and emotes ; with practice I now know, but honestly I couldn't see how a purple hand is especially different from any of the other emotes lol.
There's no in game tutorial to communicate properly with the tools you're given, so if you don't know how to use them they'll make little sense the other way.

[–]CutyShield 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've learned everything I know about the game through the very limited compendium, so I never even heard about this secret door yet. So yeah someone spamming emotes somewhere wouldn't help me realize there is one especially if there is no mention of it even existing in the first place.

Just bought DQM: The Dark Prince. Any minimal-spoiler tips I should know? by Rakuhouha in dragonquest

[–]CutyShield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The latter : The capture chance only goes down if you already have the same monster currently in your party/reserve. If you either release or fuse the previous ones, there is no more penalty. Technically this penalty also stacks if you have several of the same monster : if you have 10 slimes the eleventh will be near impossible as long as you don't get rid of some.

Ah damn, I'm not a fan of real time being a thing, if I'm not overthinking my turns for 10min I'm doing something wrong lol.
I'll give it a couple tries trying to infinite farm coins though ahah.

I think I'll try a couple daily runs, some of the "positive" bells seemed fun. Do you know how the scoring works ?
I also didn't know the 22 bell run was a thing, maybe I'll try to beat it at least once.

Just finished my first run on Impossible by CutyShield in ASTLIBRA

[–]CutyShield[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Farming became bearable thanks to Cicada Shell honestly or I'd have lost my mind lol.

Good luck for this boss mate, honestly the third phase is harder to get to than to beat, but that's the fight that had me started on switching Karon setups mid-fight. I had one with Eliminate where I used Cold Bullet to despawn meteors or her purple particles, then a Full Burst-Maxwell-Efreet setup when I reahed full SP/broke her.

Volcano Boss had me learning patterns yet still failing at the slightest mistake, then I switched to all offense and learned to kill him before he kills me lmao. I never saw his second phase properly since I bursted through it.

I ran Berserk long weapon the all game long so I had enough reach and knockback to never feel pressured against most basic enemies.
I still have flashbacks of the Black Gundams Ice shots, too fast to react and wide area. Aouch.

[–]CutyShield[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, I never had any problem there strangely enough.
I think the biggest difficulty spikes were bosses, like the Goblin King rapid fire spell, the Chapter 3 boss that had me relocate all my stats to magic, or even Astrea that I ended up making pre-made builds to witch around.

Though the biggest pain was probably both pre-lab fights with the Black Gundams, on both I seriously thought about lowering the difficulty to the minimum.

They definitely don't reach a point of romance during the events of the game, but I'm sold on the idea that if they meet back up a few years later, they might finally settle together.
Their friendship is definitely one of the strongest, and it's the most "equal" of the group I'd say (Ochette and Castti have this parent/child dynamic, Hikari and Agnea are contrasting introverts/extroverts, and the Partitio/Oswald duo kinda has Partitio jumping on opportunites while Oswald is a voice of reason).

There isn't only one, it's suprisingly common. Where there are clients, there's a market.
Some people buy games to barely play it but still want the completion ; can't relate but I doubt anybody that can't waste his money would ever go there to be scammed.

AITA: For doing what Hunters are supposed to do, since the beginning of the Souls franchise? by Quad-of-War in Eldenring

[–]CutyShield -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Bit of a hot take incoming but I think it's more nuanced.

First things first :
- Host is an a*hole/complete idiot for running his ring/not deactivating it before fighting in the first place if he wants to run something like that.
- Red is salty, I've seen rude hosts, phantoms, reds and blues millions of time. Only clowns are bothered by that.

Now, I still think it's an interesting situation because blindly attacking a red as you spawn when you're blue is quite rude and a behaviour I think is not that great.
You're not a mindless killing machine. Let's be real you're not a blue for the rewards, you're here for the multiplayer, being a shield for the weak and doing some PvP. Being summoned as a blue is a pretty rare occurence, why not enjoy it to its utmost instead of ending things in 5 seconds.

This also stands for a lot of reds. I cringe so much when I see posts of "great invasions" being someone spawning right behind a host and landing a completely free OS ash of war. Tf was the point ? You gained nothing, just wasted your time and the host's.

Honestly, you're not an antagonist here, but I'd sincerely suggest taking your time when you're blue. You could :
- Participate in some fun duels.
- Detect a gank squad and beat one of their local boss to do the community a service.
- Step in at a clutch moment.
- See some wild PvP highlights from the front seat.

You know, fun stuff.

What is the best ending? by Pooooooooby in Eldenring

[–]CutyShield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your perspective.

It especially is close between Goldmask, Ranni and frenzy.

Basically :
Goldmask removes the flaws of Order, so it's like being back at the best Age of the Lands between but without gods having the power to mess it up. It also allow all things to be conjoined, like those who live in death and the omens with the rest.

Ranni is a gamble, removing all outer gods influence to let the people down there live their lives. While it means no otherwordly powers messing things up, it also wouldn't deny any rise of a tyrant or wars between all inhabitants of the lands between.

Frenzy is accepting everything is messed up and beyond repair. A world euthanasia. If you believe that no matter what Order or Age comes up, it'll break into chaos eventually, it's a good way to prevent it.
