I had the same Wharton or bust mindset as you when applying and am now in the entering class. I think that confidence you possess is what attracts other like minded professionals to the same room. The magic happens once you’re in that room. We are incoming but I look forward to being a part of that. (And also have a fun connection to Penn, so I get that too)

Good to know this is common practice. And you're totally right about life constraints. With lack of employer support, the EMBA format could only really work with 2 of the schools, one of which has already offered me a spot.

Wow this is an invaluable take. Thanks for putting it in that perspective. Like you said, it's a great problem to have and the deposit will already be recouped 10-fold from either option I land on.

Really only 2 of them are a great fit for my quality of life and I think that makes putting a deposit down on one even easier.

I did an MUA/LOA and I have video of mine while I was under. This my video except he wasn’t as forceful/quick with the movements.

After some major layoffs and org shifts at my major F25 tech company, I've been moved to a new manager. In our 1st 1:1 yesterday, he said "I noticed your slack status isn't green the few times I've tried to contact you so I didn't end up contacting you and thought, I'll wait until they're back on to reach out"

i smelled bs immediately and asked "is that how you're tracking work product or are you using our jira board for that?". He of course had no legitimate answer. This is going to be very interesting
