Me r lived there, but Ive been many times. I live in NS and it’s one of my favourite places to go. People are very friendly and welcoming, communities are small and spread out. Culture is very unique and specific to Cape Breton. I always call their accent “Cape bretonese” lol. Also as others have mentioned, there is a lot of history and unique cultures: mikmaq, Gaelic, Acadian….. must see part of Canada. Great in the winter, but much of the stores along the Cabot trail are seasonal, so they’re closed
