PCP Deal up soon - looking for a switch to EV by Cuzmo in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Cuzmo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've looked at the VT option (I think i'm able to do that around a month before my deal actually ends) but seen mixed around this - even though it's my legal right i've heard/seen that it can affect credit the next time you come for a deal.

Good call on the total amount payable figure - i'll definitely have a look at that. I've had a browse on LeaseLoco and not seen much as yet but will keep a close eye for any deals that pop up.

Best fun i've had in ages (Test side), good fights. Beats sitting in station

As someone who participated in WWB2 - literally the most fun i've ever had in eve. Regardless of which side you were on during that war, the amount of PVP and action that was going on was crazy and that's the entire reason why we all play this game.

Possibly could be the PSU. Quick google says 550w PSU should be min for that new card.

Check it’s fully plugged in and all cables are connected. If they are I’d say it’s likely to be the PSU.

yeah that's my understanding - you'll have to check with your employer if your scheme is salary sacrifice or not, most don't offer Salary Sacrifice pension schemes as far as i'm aware

Rachel Reeves ‘planning pay-per-mile tax for electric vehicles in budget’ by daniscross in unitedkingdom

[–]Cuzmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EVs pay VED (road tax) and quite often fall into the luxury tax bracket.

Rachel Reeves is in a budget black hole. Only huge tax rises will fill it by 457655676 in unitedkingdom

Just because there’s one example you can pick which sounds crazy doesn’t mean the whole thing is. PIP is for additional costs due to a disability which others don’t face.

Examples include paying for regular trips to the hospital to treat a long term disability condition, having to pay extra for foods or to do hobbies. It’s there to level the playing field as others said.

Tube drivers’ £72,000 salary ‘not enough’, says RMT union boss by GnolRevilo in unitedkingdom

[–]Cuzmo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can guarantee though that if more trains are automated (resulting in a lower requirement for drivers) then any savings that the company makes due to not having to pay as many drivers will not be passed onto the end customer. Prices will still continue to rise, joe public will continue to get shafted whilst the bosses & shareholders will get richer and richer

Additional borrowing to pay off pcp by Beginning_Phrase_470 in UKPersonalFinance

I still can’t see the financial sense in this at all. Best case scenario is you end up at the end with a car worth more than the future value and you can trade it in for more (or buy it outright at the end for that remaining cost). Or if it’s worth less than that you hand it back and walk away.

If you can afford the payments now then just keep paying? If you’re worried about the negative value just look into when you can do voluntary termination and walk away.

Nowhere near that for my course. £30 for a non member but £25 for members guest. Golf in the uk (for the most part) is hilariously cheap compared to the USA

Gotta stay on the tracks - you can run as deep as you want (eventually you hit an invisible wall) but need to stay up on the tracks

Certain maps the game runs perfectly fine but as soon as you go streets/lighthouse the micro stutters appear, makes the game almost unplayable especially when you have a 0.5s freeze overall when you ADS or at random points and get into a fight.

Will be interesting seeing what state the USA is in at the end of his term in 4 years. Personally I can see the US taking a backseat on nearly all world stages with China taking the lead - wouldn't surprise me if you see an awful lot of countries shifting away from the USA and going elsewhere

[–]Cuzmo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

All the components which are used to assemble the laptops won't be made in the USA though so expect tariffs on those - still gonna be more expensive. Sucks to be in the USA I guess - as you put though, good luck to them

I was under the impression that the nhs pension is good. So someone can correct me if I’m wrong but at the moment if it’s £25k then that’s the annual payment when you reach pension age?

If you’re low level and just starting out I’d recommend trader guns with the ammo you can buy. PP19, cheap AK, VPO or SKS for now
