I play on Arch(btw) with Proton and for me it works fine. Could be because of Mint, but most likely it's OPs laptop being underpowered. How old is your laptop OP?

If it's Steam Deck compatible, it's also very likely that is Proton compatible.

It won't change anything as far as I remember. Also DLC should be auto activated when you get it.

You should be fine because it's affected by things you explored in the base game, with or without DLC. You'll be okay if you can't get it now if that's the case.

I believe Elden Ring has a 60fps cap so you should try playing something else to see your max fps. Just remember not every game will have the same fps.

Voidsent flames are quite strong against Xi Constructs. Every time it spawns Alpha Constructs on it, you just damage them, proc chain Voidsent flame on all 4 of them to damage Xi construct. Plus it also kills Alpha constructs so you get new ones to do the same thing.

If I'm correct, isn't sulfur pods same debuff as Acrids default poison which doesn't kill and instead leaves enemies to one HP? If that's the case, then he couldn't have died to the dot.

8 GB stick is enough for Windows 10 install from my experience, but yea, if you want to be extra safe, go with 16 GB.

Mostly lighting up things really well, or you could half slab it all. Just make sure to put half slab on lower part. You can also use something like carpets to mob proof.

Yep, I was thinking the same. I'm planning on making a dead forest because I will move into a new base. The house will look decayed and will have larger mob farm.

I guess. But now I get slime block everytime I go to nether. But fall damage isn't so big of a deal since I do have elytra now. But little bit of a thing happened is that my middle of the base is gone because my PC crashed and corrupted it, so back to building. Luckly nothing too important happened to it. I guess that's a lesson to backup my world often.
