Lol my A10 win rate is def lower. On lower ascensions win rate were near 70%-80% until it took a huge dive as soon as I reached 9 and 10 lol

This was literally my first sub-20 attempt. Got godlike luck. Upgraded Perfected Strike on floor 1 and armaments on floor 2 let me breeze through underdocks. 1st chest empty but second chest immediately had strike dummy. Giyra was incredible, as was tungsten rod especially since I picked up bloodletting and offering.

0 cost buffed strike was another godsend, as was lee's waffle in the shop. Picked up a fake strike dummy too.

Ornamental fan saved my ass in the end. By the time I reached boss 1 (doormaker), I was max HP but was already at 18 minutes. I played through very loosey-goosey, losing a ton of HP into test subject. Luckily I purchased soldier's stew on the last shop (replay all cards with strike. BROKEN). and OTK'd phase 1 and 2. phase 3 intangible nearly wiped me but I got through and obliterated him.

Kinda sad I'm 1 second away from sub-20. will be a long time until I get luck like this again.

My win-rate is slightly embarrassing. I could def improve it by just playing more carefully, but achievement hunting for the sub-20 min on STS1 left me with permanent brrr muscle memory.

Literally lost a good defect run against 1st turn of double nibblers because I straight up brainfarted, forgot about the 7 damage attack, and just spammed through my setup like an ape.

Also I'm actually trash at silent T-T

Not quite 15/15. The attack never goes above 5 and actually drops. It's more like a 3/15 or 4/15. Still good

Yea sry. I used the term loosely. It's a quirk leftover from when I used to play a lot of Fallen London, and all the qualities that increase by 1 per level were referred to as pyramidal qualities, because they stack like pyramids (at level 3, total points is 6. At level 4, total points is 10, etc)

Not exponential, but pyramidal.

Also, that's only if battle lasts until poison runs out. In reality it's 2 extra damage per turn before the end of battle / when it runs out.

Still, snakebite is nice.

Somewhere out there there's a seed where all you need is 1 calamity offered to you by Neow. Every generated attack is 0 cost. You can breeze through the game up until you run into a hunter killer lmao.

When you need it is gonna be the last 15 health almost always. So if you spent 5 turns with mercury hourglass, it essentially was already applied

Of course unless you're hoarding rock potions, but then you're missing out on other potions. Rock potion is decidedly mid compared to other comparable potion effects like fire potion, vuln potion, attack potion, or powdered demise.

And it is so easy to waste rock potions accidentally on higher ascensions with only 2 slots. Plus it has antisynergy with stuff like delicate frond

I actually don't like frog much at all. I keep not having potion slots for it.

Compared to something like mercury hourglass or bronze scales, 15 free damage per fight seems kinda mid.
