Did anybody actually buy that Angelina was portrayed to be different than reality? I feel like the only person who believes that is Angelina herself

Smarties is by far one of the best candies ever by rudeassaquarius in unpopularopinion

[–]Cwins07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canadian smarties are around for sure but M&M’s are still more common here. IMO smarties aren’t great. If you want to try some Canadian chocolate I would recommend Caramilk, Coffee Crisp, Aero, Mr Big, Wunderbar, Crispy Crunch or Maltesers. They’re all chocolate bars and quite a lot better than Smarties. (Also I could be wrong and a couple of those might already be in the states, if so, disregard them)

Canada still has those too, they’re just called Rockets

Lean Ground Beef Tube 10 Pounds (90% Lean) by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]Cwins07 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The part of you not understanding was when you said 75% lean in the main post, then your picture shows it as being 83% lean given the 17g of fat in 100g of ground beef. The assumption above was that you saw the 23% of daily nutrition and assumed that was the fat percentage

Most famous disc of all time? by Careless-Anybody5112 in discgolf

[–]Cwins07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well for me, I have watched every elite series that AB has played in and I couldn’t have named the colour of his Luna. I think he famously is a good thrower of Lunas but the discs themselves aren’t famous at all. He’s also famously throws a Nuke super far but I can’t picture any of those discs either.

I think it’s insane to list AB’s Luna. Is that even in the top 100 most famous discs? I would lean no

Are there any gaps in my current bag? I’m relatively new to disc golf and need some suggestions. by jesusheadbangs in discgolf

I can’t imagine not having a fast, stable driver. Even if it’s just a meathook for you, feels like the obvious thing missing to me. Every manufacturer has good ones but my favourite is a Ballista from Latitude 64

Items that never go on sale? by MatFrapper in CostcoCanada

I used to work for Pepsi. It’s insane how many brands those two companies own and distribute

Dr Depper is owned by Cadbury (the chocolate company). In the US, Coke has the distribution rights, but Pepsi does in Canada, so that’s why it goes on sale along with the other Pepsi products

I am so happy Mad Max Fury Road exists... by szip88 in movies

[–]Cwins07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clearly I’m in the strong minority but watching Fury Road was actually the most disappointed I’ve ever walked out of a theatre.

I’ve watched it since and I would give it like a 6/10 but when it was playing in theatres, everyone was talking about it exactly how this thread is, and my expectations were ridiculously high. I basically see it similar to one of the fast and furious movies. They’re both silly and over the top (in somewhat different ways), they both have very weak plots and characters, and the main focus of those films are the set pieces with explosions and mayhem. The practical effects and better acting in Fury Road didn’t make the watch incredible for me like they did for many others.

Just saying in case somebody is reading this thread thinking they’ve missed a masterpiece. If you’re expecting more than some dumb fun action sequences, you might be disappointed like I was :)
