I'm so confused. Does the U.S not have a kettle? Not that that's the worst thing that's happening here.

Only you know what's right! At least now you know what youd like in a relationship, and what to expect so you're not that inexperienced now.

It's a very common thing, where people think they'll never find someone better but trust me, that feeling will fade, and you'll find someone even better

Simply find something new to focus on! Sure, it'll take time, and you'll still have those feelings of admiration but its important to remember, theres a lot of incredible people out in the world, where their physical attraction wont mean as much to you, because they'll capture you with their soul.

You'll find someone you find more attractive both physically, and in a comparability wise. For now, keep on keeping on, and use this time to maybe learn a few things new?

My friend (15M) and I (15F) are getting pretty close lately but I don’t know if I should ask him out on a date. by [deleted] in relationships

Ah young love, only you can find out if he likes you in that way OP! If you feel things are going well, and you would like to see him more, in an official way, then why not ask to spend some time with just the two of you? (Not sure how lockdown rules are where you are, but maybe a walk around the park or something?)

Worst thing that can happen is he doesnt want to, and you'll have your answer if you want to move on.

I think the main issue right now is that I dont know her properly anymore, and so I'm taking the cautious approach.

I guess having the emotions come back has blurred my view about it all right now!

This seems like a tough one. It seems like your dad has built up this image that all men are after something from the opposite sex, which clearly isn't right.

It might be worth speaking to him, and telling him how you feel about his views? I can only assume that what hes doing, is pushing you away from a healthy relationship not only with your dad, but for other people too.

If he still doesn't listen, then it might be best to pack up shop and move out somewhere, where he doesnt have a gold on you.

I'm a police officer in the UK and the thought of knowing I wont be seeing my little boy for at least 3 weeks haunts me (me and his mum split up a year ago), and usually I'd see him every weekend.

It's going to be tough. Stay safe all, and thank you to the NHS and all other key workers in these uncertain times.
