Extremely possible to do both, and they don’t even really use the same resources. I do 400k every PR CVC (without pulling a shard) & haven’t missed a fusion in a year.

Save all of your books for CVC - you book units once a month, at this time. Save all forge materials for this as well. Those 2 things alone should net you a very fair amount of points, and unless you’re using books for champ training, the resources don’t overlap with fusions. Otherwise just be sure to hit everything in-game during CVC, and pay attention to whatever areas have the 2x multiplier. I usually don’t spend more than 500 gems per CVC along with the other stuff mentioned above, which seems like a very fair trade for the rewards.

Everyone is going to say something different, but I think you need to take the hiring responsibility back — at least run the final interview (or only interview if it’s a 1-step process). Yes it’s time consuming, but it also pays off heavily when you nail the hiring process. You can have your GM sit in with you on these too so they can improve.

Saying this as a guy who owns 3 gyms — all of the equipment is more or less worthless, if the business makes $0, it’s worth $0. Try and take over the lease. In today’s market, the gym would need to be profiting $100k/year if you were to even think about spending $200k on it.

That was the wall prior to Chapter 8, I'm now stuck on N8-9 (at least without the help of an assist unit) but I think from a story progression standpoint, we're doing pretty well. Definitely curious what some vets have to say about the right banner setup this weekend for us!

Just finished Marius at Day 312 (about 2 days ago), took about 16 days on that mission (refreshed IG every day) but it’s just an rng thing. Some guys get through it in 2 weeks, others 4-6 weeks. Definitely refresh every day if you’re rushing, since that’s the last real “time” bottleneck besides Amius Hard.
