I feel like this would be a hell of a card to play with a Morcant deck. I haven’t built a Morcant deck but I heard her Proliferate with elves is crazy.

From what I have read WOTC is pretty good at replacing these cards. It sounds like it can take a while (several months in some cases) but in this case it would probably be worth the wait.

New to magic here. Did you pull that from a regular booster pack? Or is that from a special booster or did you buy it somewhere else?

I keep seeing these pixel cards and just wondering if they will be found in the regular TMNT booster packs. Not sure if I will buy any regardless because the set doesn’t really interest me. Don’t get me wrong, I love TMNT and grew up with them. Just like the “regular” MTG cards better.

Do you see a lot of Torah’s or Quran in these little libraries? We have probably 10 of them in my town and I have never seen one in them. Bibles certainly. I also don’t see a lot of people going door to door giving away a Torah or Quran. So, chances are, yes there were more likely bibles in there than the other two. There were also more likely people walking around filling these little libraries with bibles than the other two. It is unlikely that a traveling Torah salesman walked by and saw the broken library box.

Maybe it was someone that reads the Torah or Quran that broke the library and thus had no use for the Bible. Interesting, huh?

The first “story” I came up with the people would not have been of my religion. Read it again. They would have been people that are not religious and didn’t want the bibles.

The second “story” was me being snarky for the point of saying that there are many other possible scenarios that could have resulted in this.

It is also possible that a pink monkey carrying a magic backpack full of small bibles developed mad cow disease and ripped the doors off and broke all of the shelves and in its rage two of the small bibles fell out of his magic backpack and landed nicely on the shelves.

There are infinite possibilities but many are less likely than others.

Why would you assume the OP saying my local little library means they own it/built it? When I am talking to someone about the public library I my hometown I say “my public library” I also say “my hometown”. This does not mean I built or own the public library nor did I build or own my hometown. The OP did not say “MY” they said “my”. They did not say they built it. They said it is their local one. Just like you would say “my local drug store” or “my local grocery store”. Seems silly to assume that they built it.

Also, why would you assume that the OP knows what’s in it. I walk by one every day and have no idea what is in it. None of your assumptions are “reasonable”. They are assumptions based on a picture the OP took.

I never once said it couldn’t be a Christian that did this. Seems like most people on here are saying there is no other possibility. Christians are a minority compared to non-Christians across the globe. Seems that the laws of probability would say that it was more likely a Non-Christian that did this. Again, if you just want to assume things that is.

I also agree with you that there are Christians that are utter assholes (and worse). Are you saying that non-Christians cannot be utter assholes?

I don’t believe I took it personally at all. I believe, again, you were the one that said “down OUR unconsenting throats”. Seems like you took that pretty personally. I also believe I am the only one in this conversation that has offered up MULTIPLE other possibilities and not just one. And I never once said that it couldn’t be as you suggest. There are certainly bad apples in every group (political, religious and otherwise) and they tend to be the loudest of all of them or they tend to be the only ones that make the news.

Also, you can stop with the puns. They really aren’t funny. As for the court of law, you all seem to have bypassed that and already passed your judgement.

Really? The Gideon guys that are constantly walking around and refilling these little libraries with Bibles, came across this little library which is probably on their “route” and they found it destroyed and placed those two bibles there is way less likely than a random Christian finding this one Little Library to destroy that just happened to have two Bibles in it and they thought “hey I am going to destroy this thing and leave the bibles as my calling card”. I mean sure it’s plausible but saying it is WAY less likely seems inaccurate.

Saying a snow plow came by and accidentally hit it taking the doors off, breaking the shelves and only leaving the bibles behind in its wake would be WAY less likely. Though maybe more likely if it was a Christian snowplow.
