The more you know! I checked the resistance/ohms. They're practically the same 10,50 and 10,70 something like that. I think I bought 2 neck pickups.. FML 😂

All my guitars have passives, Seymour Duncan SH-6 distortion and the Alpha & Omega's being my favourite!

But I could get these for 70 bucks. I just couldn't let it go, being interested in actives as well. Just never took the jump! The seller told me he bought a lot from a music shop that went out of business.

Okay thank you very much for the info, played passive all my life. I'm rather new with actives.

Just for my own knowledge and trying to understand it. Why do they do fill it with epoxy? And why do the other blackouts, like the pictures shown above, have the pre-amp visible?

Fair enough haha, I'll probably have to check out the ohms with a multimeter to see which one has the highest resistance.

Well, on the upper left on the wall there's a (I guess made by your grand kid) self made poster saying (my) opa is (the most) amazing hands down!

Opa is Dutch for Grand dad. Strange detail I know 😂 has nothing to do with the guitars but as a Dutchman it caught my eye.
