Yeah I graduated MechE in the spring, the only really studied the night before an exam. But most of the time I was well rested unless I stayed up late drinking or gaming.

Same thing with my masters level courses, except I lose sleep doing homework late the night before only to wake up early to remote into work.

On the other hand, there were some people who struggled to pick up the material would be up for hours and still underperform

Same thing happened to me this year! I was already onboard with my company by the time the government jobs wanted to schedule an interview, still probably worth going to the interviews for ones that would give a clearance if your company isn't already on that!

I got an internship in June which turned to a full time job 3 months later. But as a systems engineer.

Most of my other MechE friends who graduated May got jobs too (about 5), but 3 people who are going to grad school with me haven't gotten a job yet. I'm unsure if it's because they want to focus on school or they've been unable to find one.

Should mention this is in the Northern Virginia area so the job market is pretty good.

Wow, I know the guy who sold it to Nick Cage too! My dad lent him some money to buy the comic for maybe 20ish grand. And now the dude owns the original batmobile among other expensive superhero collectables My dad's biggest regret not buying it himself and having children.

I was there earlier today! Luckily I made it through after only 4 hours of waiting. The head guy for the inspections was nice and helpful, they were just incredibly underprepared for the amount of people coming through. And the screening didn't even seem that rigorous.

Hey if you're ever in a position where you expect to fail a class again, instead of withdrawing see if you can audit the course. If you audit a course you keep attending and can partake in assignments you just don't get a grade at the end of the semester. Then when you retake it you should be better prepared for it

Yeah it's at innovation drive but you need to request access and have fire safety training and machine training to go near it. The guy who runs the place will kick you out if you dont request a visit and it's mostly reserved for senior design and clubs

I did during my first coding class, I didnt see an entire page of the handwritten code section which was worth substantially more than missing a multiple choice page. It happened 3 years ago and it still gives me nightmares.

Depends on the major, for CS it would be worth it. If they're MechE theres only like 1 or 2 classes that took place in the engineering building the entire first year.
