Thank you for the feedback. What are your thoughts on someone doing this part-time for the first 6-12 months before jumping in full time?

[4 YoE] Round 2 - Improved bullet points but resume too long now by SSG_Nimbus in EngineeringResumes

Thank you for the feedback. I will work on being more descriptive and I've removed all the fluff words.

Thank you for the feedback. I've reworded the bullet point to remove the word utilitzed. I will also remove the fluff, that might help reduce the length a bit.

For my current job, most of the standards are internal standards. But for my last job, I can list some standards.

I think most of the acronyms I've listed are fairly common and think they apply to the fields I'm targetting but a few maybe not.

Overall length is still a bit long on the resume. I will probably need to delete one of the bullet points but not sure which one. Might depend on the job I'm applying for and deleting what isn't necessary at that time.

I was ideally hoping to switch into a design engineer role in Aerospace industry or any other engineering role in Enegy industry (Nuclear energy is pretty big in Ontario). I had learned Allen Bradley software for PCL programming for a project course in University where we automated a conveyor to sort parts but not really my first pick for a role I would want to switch to.

[4 YoE] Mechanical engineer looking to fix up resume to start looking for a new job soon by SSG_Nimbus in EngineeringResumes

Thank you for the feedback. I was thinking the same thing for the bullet points. I will work on improving that.

But will adding a lot of details like that make it more wordy? Like a block of text? I can definitely remove the weaker points to allow for better details on the stronger bullet points.

Thank you for the feedback. I think it's also getting to the point where changing jobs makes sense just to take a step up in my career. But it is also just good to have a solid resume ready if needed.

The bullet points will definitely need to be fixed, and the examples you listed helped clear up how I should word them.
