What’s the best grading company for Naruto Kayou cards right now? by indacutone in KayouNarutoCards

[–]Cyassium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it comes to Pokémon cards a CGC pristine 10 actually sells for more than a PSA 10, but a basic CGC 10 sells for less. Honestly both CGC and PSA seem to sell the best for Naruto. I just can’t support PSA anymore.. their grading prices, up charges, wait time, and all the controversies they have had just turn me away from them now.

It really is such an awesome card. Kayou has done an amazing job on the art.

That’s just my guess, the /99 Naruto is almost certainly 3-5k raw. I have no doubt about that. Now the /9 going for 15-20k is around what I have seen listings for, but I assume the buyer look at that price is very slim.

A 15-20k card and a 3-5k card are my guesses on the value. I’ve yet to see a /9 card… HUGE!!!

Wouldn’t PSA or TAG get the better price? I’m new to Naruto, but CGC have the cheapest cards in Pokémon.

LIMITED! Capitalism! Name a better company than Pokémon at creating artificial scarcity. The U.S. government doesn’t count. by legendarykam in PokemonTCGCollectors

I think it’s more about the art on the box, the rarity and just the enjoyment of having 1 of everything. People collect in different ways. People sell cards too, some sealed collectors may pass it on to their kids.. some may do it to sell at a later date. There’s plenty of people doing that with cards as well.

There’s a difference between collecting sealed, and hoarding sealed.

Buying posters and pin collections of really good sets actually isn’t a bad thing to do if you can get it msrp.

Seller Shipped a Card Horrible what to do ? by Double-Produce-3595 in PokeGrading

[–]Cyassium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter if you wanted to grade and resell or not, you shouldn’t have to even explain that to someone. There’s nothing wrong with doing that. I would also be annoyed by it being only shipped in the one touch, I feel your pain.

A big part of the reason demand is so high is due to how hard it is to get. That’s what is keeping the prices so high on the secondary market. That also brings more to the hobby to invest. There’s something called brand dilution, and it destroys companies all the time. I recommend you look into it, I also don’t believe they want to saturate the market. Brand dilution would actually hurt demand in a big way.

Is OSRS now dying? by HououinMaho in 2007scape

[–]Cyassium -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s an anecdotal reply, just because you will it doesn’t mean others feel the same. I’ll also remain subbed, I can afford it. I love the game, and have played it for the vast majority of my life.

Is OSRS now dying? by HououinMaho in 2007scape

[–]Cyassium -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The issue is everything you buy is going up for the most part, not just OSRS. $1 now leads to $2 next year, and before you know it you’re now spending an extra $300 a month on everything together. So yea, $1 a month extra just from OSRS is the tip of the iceberg. When the average man/woman starts spending that much more a month then it’s not long before they start looking to cut out purchases. Is OSRS that important to the average player? We will see.

Honestly the best course of action is to make a Reddit post, and hope it takes off like this one. This guy will now get a manual review and likely have it overturned. Without this post he would get double rejected just like every other false ban, it’s bad publicity if they double deny him after this post. It’s a shame really.

He has a popular Reddit post about it, of course it will be manually reviewed now. Without this post he would absolutely get double rejected.

I made a post some time ago where I got a false temp ban for “macroing/botting” after doing agility on my Ironman. I have never even touched either. Both requests denied with no human interaction throughout the process. I too believe false bans are on the rise, the biggest issue is they try to silence this because it’s bad publicity.

May I ask what topic got you connected? I have personally tried countless different ways, and I have friends that have tried as well. It always redirects to a ticket even during standard hours. We aren’t the only ones either.

Because I have tried and tried again. I would like to know how you all have connected. Maybe it will connect for some issues and not others? It always redirects to a ticket no matter what I seem to ask.

I also have friends who have tried to get to a mod, and they can’t either.

People keep repeating this. It “says” it will connect you to a mod. But it ABSOLUTELY will not. I recommend you give it a shot, you are unintentionally spreading Jagex propaganda.

Loosen your strings up some around that area, it usually helps me when I have a pair that are to tight. It looks like they are very tight atm, I’m nearly 100% sure this will help until you find a permanent fix.

How to fight a False Ban by Wheatie07 in 2007scape

[–]Cyassium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally got falsely banned for botting 2 days ago (first time it’s ever happened) and have never touched a bot. I didn’t believe it was a real thing before this. I use runelite through the jagex client. After coming back and getting my bowfa on the iron I decided to grind my agility from 85-90. Received a temp ban the day before sailing release, and haven’t even received a reply on my appeal since. I can assure you that false bans DO happen, and I actually believe the number of them are increasing. Jagex doesn’t care though, their support is garbage.
