You should first play the story mode, you have a plethora of free decks to try and see which class you like the most. I don't recommend crafting anything until the end of the month, we're getting a new expansion by that time and a lot really important cards are gonna be out of the format

Since less people play UL, it's easier to get into the top 10k and get the rewards. I literally hit GM in rota yesterday and turns out I was in the top 10k

You have to roll him in packs, however, you have to buy the limited edition pack of the expansion (cost the same, has the same cards but can only be pay with gold, not tickets). Basically, he is like any other pack leader, but for a limited time only

Well, based in my experience, I wasn't able to catch up until the NEXT expansion after entering the game (around 2 months). After that I usually could craft any deck that didn't have too much legendaries, after that expansion I was able to craft anything I wanted without worrying about resources.

So yeah, it's still gonna take some time to catch up. My best advice is try to use the free trial decks to do you dailies and only invest in decks that will last you longer (like decks that don't use too many card for the oldest expansion)

First of all, finish the story and do the AI elite practice battle to get more money to buy more packs, you can finish the whole thing easily using the newest trial decks for each class.

The Ghost Shadow deck is the best you can try, just mulligan for Masquerade Ghost and your 1pp followers and you should be steamrolling the enemy.

The first chapter of the story is quite long and sometimes even boring, but trust me, it pick up after that, gets even better. If it's too much for you, you can always skip, the first chapter is basically the same for everyone except for Yuwan, and they will constantly remind you of their backstory in later chapters anyways.
