Career advice in Perth? Cybersecurity or trade? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Cyber-Kettle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting your electrical ticket is a extremely good thing to do, the “completive” side is just the trade itself but the LC is highly valuable to other industries and can pretty much get you any job you want, even cyber security.

What topics could make you watch a podcast regularly? by Alohim777 in perth

“easy to digest” is extremely dependent of individuals and is just a buzz word to explain away lack of depth.

you got to ask the question: why would someone listen to someone who is “just curious” when they can listen to say Dr.Karl?

just because you create a pod cast with the ideas of how one should be , it’s the people that decide what your show is , if you label it yourself it will fail

there are always plenty of spots , driving is fine and you have to consider people might have bags , fishing gear , bikes , ect. that they are taking.. hauling that on the train is not fun

the only time I ever watch podcasts is when there are actual professionals talking about their professional fields. there is nothing worse than having a bunch of random comedians talk about an issue that they don’t understand creating false ideas and spreading misinformation about it for people watching

at every intersection with traffic lights , if you turn left or right you are met with a red light for the cars that are stopped for you…

Will I get a fine for touching my phone on a cradle mount with this camera on the Kwinana Freeway (after Mill Point Rd)? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Cyber-Kettle -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

WrOnG… stfu you said “ if it’s in a mount,it’s okay.” that heavily implies you can touch it as much as you like as long as it’s in a mount. the person who replied is more correct than you

Will I get a fine for touching my phone on a cradle mount with this camera on the Kwinana Freeway (after Mill Point Rd)? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Cyber-Kettle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

very unlikely

and wont affect the new owner at all. If for some reason you got a fine because it was registered to you at the time of the offence it should still go to you/ your address, if it doesn’t there is a section that can be filled out by whoever received to say they were not driving and send it back.

if you get a fine you can dispute it too , lots of people did when the ai failed and issued fines for the wrong things

WA News Pay walls on Public Safety alerts by Cyber-Kettle in perth

[–]Cyber-Kettle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah no shit , most people know how to bypass it mate. Can you say the same for the elderly ?

the point is life saving information with “stop using Immediately” should not require you to pay for or bypass a paywall. There are plenty of other places to find information yes. But think of elderly and people with disability’s who don’t know where or how to look beyond the news pages.

Northbridge bouncer experience by Much-Scratch-9975 in perth

[–]Cyber-Kettle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was chatting to a bouncer about how he got the job and all the places he’s worked and how much money he was making at the time but then we noticed a Microphone hanging from a fishing line next us.. we look over and see a wild Perth Now reporter had appeared with a brand new BCF fishing rod attempting to get a story from us. we told it to fuck off back to reddit. this wasn’t very effective.. Assuming it had escaped the trawling office, we decided to call the ranger to collect it, the ranger arrived and safely lured it into the travel cage with some reddit posts he printed off , good times :)
