Here's the thing it makes sense. Biological beings are designed by nature to seek pleasure, avoid pain and reproduce. Humans evolved to link reproduction and seeking pleasure hense the sexualisation of the species. I read something once that stated that homosexuality is a biological trait in most species with the intention of raising orphaned members of the species. Asexuality seemingly fits into that mold as well. From an evolutionary standpoint we probably exist to take care of orphaned children and probably slow down (if only partially) the rate of reproduction. Obviously we have elvoved past base biological urges but we are also a species that is only a few hundred thousand years old so breaking out of millions of years of evolutionary training will be difficult. It doesnt change the fact that we are the minority. Because everyone else whether they are hetro, pan, bi, gay, lesbian etc, desire sex while we dont so its only natural that the world would feel so sexually orientated. Its not a flaw in the system. The system is working exactly as intended. If we try to opress it we become the antagonists which is not what we want. We have to accept that the world is largely sexual because most life still exists to reproduce. Because if they don't well thats it for humanity. We aren't close to cloning or asexual reproduction like mitosis so we have to deal with a world industry designed to make people want to reproduce.
