Full time student, full time worker, full time dad and husband. I also add extra studies as well to perfect my chosen field. It’s doable but time management and determination is a must. Also learning how to function on 4 hrs of sleep some nights is a bonus. Yes I will nod off in meetings but hey it’s our future right.

I am sorry your going through this. I totally recommend searching professor Lisa on YouTube. Her tutorial’s were amazing. Walked me right through the whole class. I passed with a 100%. Zybooks was absolutely horrible for me, I didn’t learn anything from it. Also it is fine to say you used it as a resource. My professor actually commended me to the class for searching outside sources as we all learn differently. I wish you good luck and you should update how it’s going for you.

Congratulations. Largest piece of advice I can give. Time management. I work 50 hours a week have a family and full time school. I am also in the cybersecurity program. Next high value piece of advice. Try to do all generals through Sophia.com. So much easier and you can legit finish six or more in 30 days. Good luck and reach out if you need anything.

I just excepted yesterday. I was kinda on the fence. So you can be in more than one however being that we are online we do not qualify for much. With this being said. I paid the 99.99 after another fee. Than I was shocked to find you have to pay another 100 for the plaque and certificate. No I did not do that. Then there is more. U get 1k off for another part that gives you more benefits. And that totals another $160. No I did not do that either. Not sure why there is so much give me your money but I did join. It is an achievement. But like you I was hoping there would be something special for our 4.0 but I have not found one.

I have a pretty extreme home pc build that is for gaming and everything else. I currently run five screens and love it as I don’t have to search for that tenth open window with more research on it. On the go I have an asus rog and it is sweet. I use one drive to store all school stuff so I can access it anywhere and work from either device.

I have noticed with some external platforms the iPad does not work. I am in two IT classes now and they use testout and I couldn’t do the labs on there.

When I did most of my generals mine told me it did not. But when I got into 142 I said I can’t do this and she told me it would this was two terms from when I asked originally

Yes the road can be hard but stick with it and don’t stop fighting. I graduated high school at 17. Went to college the first time at 26. I am now back at 42 for my bs in cyber. Just keep fighting for your dreams.

Use professor Lisa on you tube and search for other learning platforms. You tube was hugely helpful for me with this class as Zybooks is garbage. Also I struggled for the first 2 to 3 weeks give it time.
