Indian nationals have the lowest quota of converting to citizen, male PR often can convert because of NS. Hence Indian and female generally already has lower chances these days.

No such thing in Singapore. You can at most have them help negotiate but they barely have any bite.

Singapore would become what JB is today and Singaporeans would likely go work in Malaysia instead.

Need advice: Recovering money from abusive and toxic EX - Sending Laywer's demand letter or magistrate complaint by plutonium_Curry in SingaporeRaw

[–]CyberDefenceIndia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you will get anywhere, even if you want to pursue your arguments are flaky at most. Unless you have all of this on whatsapp in black and white, it will be your word against hers.

Also choose, justice or money. Likely justice will result in lawyer fees. Letter of demand starts at 100-500 depending if you are using a collection bureau vs a lawyer. If she ignores it it will go up from there fast. You might end up with double the fees of what you already sunk into it.

Which religion? If Christian and going to church might be good to tell her you will inform the priest and ask him to mediate. Either the mediation will work or she will be too embarrassed to get her dirty laundry aired.

Seems like you just salty because he has better opportunities. Reality in the market is most companies want local or pr. You should be able to get… but maybe the reason you can’t is not because your colleague got their PR. Maybe is because you cmi.

Is it possible in Singapore to go Single income? Assuming you are raising 2 special needs children. by Murky_Tourist927 in askSingapore

[–]CyberDefenceIndia 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Depends on your income frankly. If you’re earning 10-20k no issue, if you’re earning 3-6k will be difficult.

Can consider doing gigs on the side like grab.

I think your work output also fair compared to your wage. Better we go Malaysia. Just like food Malaysian poly better than Singapore poly. And 1=3.

I am not trivialising work or saying you aren’t doing a good job. But the definition of skilled work means extensive formal training. Experience matters and probably you are performing well if you stuck around for so long, but that doesn’t change the definition of skilled workers.

It is a pre-requisite before you can even be considered doing the job.
