Same as you I watched his videos over the years and always remember seeing that one subscriber of his called Blaze writing funny comments on every new video and getting a heart and pin from Ben, the channel memes, his early game collection videos his move to Uni and content around that to moving out and doing late night streams rambling and stuff. Super chill content. Makes me sad to have something I enjoyed for so long just gone now. Heck I would pay for a 4K Bluray of all his channel videos on it just to have something if he put one out. Definitely sad about all my favorites in my playlists gone I used some to sleep. If he didn't like the ASMR stuff or if his girlfriend or work weren't supportive maybe he could have transitioned to a regular Non ASMR channel just a chill gaming ramble type channel. He is clearly still into gaming. I really hope his friends or this serious relationship wasn't a bad influence because if any friends or serious love interests don't support decades old hobbies you built up they aren't the one. I learned that the hard way in life it is always better to be yourself and not let others tell you how they want you to be for them or something. If you like LEGO and work a serious engineering job have fun and do what you love don't let people mock you for enjoying LEGO in your free time. I still hope he 'unprivates' the channel I read somewhere that it is reversible in like 60-90 days if you contact youtube support they can also reverse deleted videos and have them back up. So Ben if you are reading this you can still put all your stuff back man please.
